Guiliana's POV

I couldn't sleep the entire ride. I had become very anxious and the realization that I had been kidnapped was taking a toll on me. The thoughts were racing through my mind and I felt like throwing up but nonetheless I endured my emotions the entire four hour ride. When the bus finally stopped and we had arrived in Trenton, NJ, I got off and stood on the curb of the isolated station. No one else had gotten off but in the distance I could see the bussel of people and liveliness of the area.
Ok now all I had to do was find a motel and lie low. I looked around the station. There was a mother and her two children one of which was throwing a tantrum and a man sitting on a bench reading the newspaper. Or was he? I began to get paranoid as I watched him sneak glances at me. Shit I had to get to a motel fast. I looked in the distance and down the road I could see there was a gas station. Hopefully someone there could help me. As I left the bus station, I turned around and the shady guy was gone. Phew. I felt a weight come off my shoulder as I had worried that one of the people that had taken me had found me. But I was too far away anyways so I pushed that thought out of my mind. The walk there was quick as my mind was far away daydreaming of when I could put all this behind me. I still didn't know what "all this" was but I didn't like it. The gas station was a 7/11 and it was in pretty good condition despite being in the middle of vegetation. I took off my glasses before entering. As I didn't want to come across as a thief because I probably already looked needy. The chiming of the door bells announced my arrival into the store and as I looked around it looked completely desolate. The middle Eastern looking man at the front counter eyed me suspiciously. Oh great. He didn't look too friendly but I had to do what I came to do. I cleared my throat and proceeded.

"Excuse me do you know where I can find the nearest motel". The words came out in a hushed tone. The cashier looked up at me in annoyance.  He looked dirty and reeked of cigarettes. I would've been better off asking the mom and her whiny children.

"Listen woman are you going to buy something", he exclaimed sharply, his attitude catching me off guard.

"I just wanted-"

"No ok then please leave my store"

"Store? This is a gas station I just needed some help! ", I shouted. I was told I had a temper and I should learn to control it but I wasn't gonna put up with him being disrespectful.

"Ma'am leave before I call the cops!". So much for keeping a low profile but what was his deal, why was he blowing this way out of proportion?

"COPS?! ARE YOU-"

"Is there a problem?", a voice from behind me asks. The cashier turns his head towards the voice and as do I.
