"You helped us, come on!"———
Riley up in the sky now, was hanging onto Toomes as he flew to the invisible plane. She took deep breathes to ease the nerves. They got to the underside of it, and she caught the plane where she let go of Vulture, and crawled behind him, watching his next move.
She honestly had no idea as to what she should do, this is the highest she's ever been. So much for staying out of danger. She thankfully was not afraid of heights, but anyone would be afraid if they were outside a plane hundreds of feet in the air at high speed.
She hadn't even realized that Peter was behind her, until she looked back, and almost screamed. They were so high. And the wind... she could die. They both could die. One wrong move, one wrong step and boom, dead.
They saw Toomes cover himself with his wings, probably to get a way in.
"What's he going to do?" Riley asked.
"I don't know, but we gotta stop him." Peter said and he tried getting closer, but his suit wasn't sticking enough to the plane and he got swept back. He tried grabbing onto the plane but he didn't get his grounding until the edge. "Peter?!" Riley whisper-yelled.
"I'm good!"
She sighed and wished she stayed at the dance. Both of them. A small part of her just wished Peter left Toomes alone so he can just go away, but Riley knew that's not how bad guys work. They won't stop until they have everything. Even though it was dangerous, and possibly deadly, she knew this was what she was made to do. Stop the bad guy and save lives. Even if it risked her own.
She carefully crawled closer to the cocoon, and tried to get inside it, but she temporarily lost her footing when a drone dropped down in front of her face suddenly and flew out besides the plane. "That's not good."
Peter swung down behind her, "We gotta move this thing!" He yelled through the really loud wind, but she heard and nodded. They both repeatedly kicked the corner of it, and it finally broke a little bit, creating opening the hole in the plane, which also made a few things fly out, which hopefully was not important.
Riley then suddenly thought about her father. He would not like this one bit. She would be grounded for life. He would never let her out of his sight again or let her train. But then reality settled in once more, and she realized he wouldn't even have a way to find out. He's gone for all she knows. He left. He hid and the last she's heard of him was a short phone call that ended in the middle of a sentence. She missed him greatly.
She was brought back to the death-defying situation when Toomes took his wing suit and flew off. Peter started running to the side of the plane.
"Just a typical homecoming-" she heard him say, "-on the outside of an invisible jet-" he pulled himself up and put his back to the plane, "-fighting my friends dad-"
Riley saw Toomes flying towards him, "Peter! Watch out!" She warned him, and he ducked just in time to miss being decapitated. "Damn." Riley said. Peter quickly latched onto Toomes wings and tried to hold onto the plane, but instead got pulled out.
He was in the air, flapping all around when Toomes changed directions and headed towards the engine turbine. Riley swung out and pulled Peter towards the plane and just missed being shredded by the turbine as they yelled in fear. Toomes' wing got caught in the turbine, causing him to spiral away, but also breaking the engine.
"Engine down!!" Riley yelled in worry. That was not good. Planes need engines. Especially a really big ass plane with really important shit inside. "I can't believe that worked!" Peter yelled.
