Kenny x Butters [Simple Syrup COMPLETED]

[ New Friends ]

It's been five months since the Stotch moved to South Park and Butters had finally accepted this town into his heart. It took him a while to get used to his new town; to get used to the life in this rednecks quiet mountain town. Butters discovered that the people who lived here were fucking insane. Not only that, there were all kinds of wierd stuff happening on a daily basis; from crazy rednecks not taking kindly to every God damn things, to getting a probe during an alien abduction. So, yeah, it took him a while to get used to all that.

Those were the bad stuff. The good stuff was that Butters met and got to know his neighbors on the block and especially the ones across from his house, and made friends with their sons. At school, he became good friends with a couple of other guys. He was surprised that everyone welcomed him with a big smile and treated him as if he's been there for his entire life... Well, everyone except that one dude named Eric Cartman. However, Butters was told not to take what Cartman said or did too personally because "he was a dick for the sake of being one".

He became close friend with a guy named Tweek Tweak, whose boyfriend was Craig Tucker. Tweek also had blonde hair, sometimes he would twitch and scream out non-sense but he was a very nice person. His parents were the owners of one of the main cafe in South Park. Tweek and Butters had a couple of classes together and they would often hang out after school as well as every other weekends. Tweek' boyfriend, Craig, wasn't as friendly toward Butters as Tweek was... For a couple of weeks Craig would tag along, glaring at Butters and made sure that the two blondes wouldn't get too close to one and other, physically. He would always put himself between the two to keep them apart.

However, Craig stopped acting like a total dick toward him when he realized that Butters wasn't a threat to his relationship with his boyfriend. Tweek apologized for Craig's behavior, explaining that Craig tend to be very possessive of him, and he wanted to make sure that Butters wasn't trying to steal Tweek away from him. Butters couldn't help but laughed at them, thinking that these two made a great couple. He wished he had a someone who treasured him as Craig treasured Tweek.

Butters also became friend with a guy named Stan Marsh and another guy named Kyle Broflovski. Apparently, his dad went to college with their dads. On almost every Sunday, the three family would join together for dinner, a way for their dads to reconnect again. Butters didn't hang out with Stan and Kyle a lot though, because they tend to go do their own things with their group of friends... Stan's group consisting of himself, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny.

Kenny McCormick. The store clerk. His gardener. He was also bookstore clerk and worked at the cafeteria on Butters' campus.

Butters slowly was starting to get used to Kenny being in his life. It was inevitable since they saw each other almost everyday and everywhere. At first it was nerve wracking for the young Stotch. He thought that McCormick was pulling some kind of joke on him. He refused to believe that it was just a coincidence that Kenny worked in almost every places he used to go to.

Once a week, on every Monday, at 7:30 am, Butters would go down to have breakfast, and there was Kenny, making himself comfortable, eating breakfast. Sometimes Butters would join him, sometimes he would leave the house to ignore him.

Butter would go to school and there was Kenny, again. Butter would see Kenny working at the bookstore three times a week, from 10am-12pm. Then, from 12:30pm-2pm he would run into Kenny in the cafeteria, working as a cashier.

When Butters wasn't at school, and his mom would send him to the stores, there again, Kenny fucking McCormick! Then, when Butters' dad asked him to fill the gas tank of his car, there was Kenny, again! Working! Inside the gas stop convince store!

Butters started to feel like Kenny was making fun of him. However, it wasn't until Stan and Kyle confirmed to Butters that Kenny actually worked at those places... That he realized that the McCormick boy wasn't pulling any kind jokes on him.

They told him that Kenny's family was very poor and he was the one who brought money back home. After he found that out, Butters felt really bad. Beyond awful. He wasn't like this before. Quick to judge and not wanting to get to know someone so badly.

Stan and Kyle told him that Kenny's parents were alcoholics and meth-heads. Kenny had an older brother named Kevin and he was locked up in jailed, serving 20 years. Kevin and Kenny also had a younger sister. Her name was Karen and she was three years younger than Kenny. Karen just graduated from high school and would be going to Denver University with a scholarship, but it wasn't enough to pay for boarding, so Kenny was the one who took care of her financial needs, transferring money into her account, making sure that Karen was well fed and had money to spend on herself... So she could enjoy a normal college life.

Even though Kenny was Stan's and Kyle's best friends, he rarely hang out with them like he used to, and it was for an obvious reasons. Due to Kenny's work schedule, he couldn't make it to a lot of social events nor was able to join the guys to their adventure. On the other hand, because Kenny was such a hard worker, and all of his employers were aware of his situation, they agreed to give Kenny at least three days off every month... And Kenny was allowed to pick the dates.

This particularly day was one of those and Kenny decided to spend his day off with his friends. It just so happened to be the same day of Tolkien's house party.

Butters knew Tolkien, a.k.a Token by his closest friends, but they weren't very close. They weren't distant friends either. They met each other through Tweek. The Tweak's boy introduced Butters to his group of friends, which consisted of Craig, Token, and Clyde. Then Butters found out that Tweek's group were also Stan's group's childhood friends.... Yes. It was quite confusing and to be honest, Butters stopped keeping track of how his friends knew each others...

He only remembered the important stuff:

1. Tweek, Token, Clyde, Craig, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman known each other since kindergarten.

2. Craig and Cartman were considered the "biggest dickheads and assholes" among them, so Butters was advised to avoid any kind of confrontation with those two.

3. Tweek and Craig were in a serious and long term relationship.

4. Stan and Kyle were together but not officially... whatever the fuck that meant...

5. Token was the rich and down to earth one

6. Clyde was the party animal and a player... Or as Stan put it, "a sensitive fuck boi"... Again, whatever the fuck that meant...

8. Kenny was the chill, upbeat, and happy-go-lucky one. He got along with everyone and everyone considered him their best friend.

The young Leopold was very happy that he was able to fit in. He liked all his new friends--he still wasn't sure if Kenny and him were friends because they never hang out. Nevertheless, he was grateful that his new friends welcomed him into their lives and included him into their groups. The two groups weren't always getting along though. Cartman would rip on Kyle for being a Jew. Stan and Kyle would always get into arguments with Cartman. Craig would flipped each of them off for no reason. Clyde would whine over stupid shit. Tweek felt that everything was way too much pressure. And Token... Well... Token was just Token. He was almost the normal one. Almost.
