Kenny x Butters [Simple Syrup COMPLETED]

"Hi there, Buttercup!" Kenny said while flashing a bright smile. He kneeled down right in front of Butters and they look into each other's eyes. "Um... Sorry about earlier... I ... Didn't mean to snap at you like that" he said softly, reaching his hands out to wipe the tears on his beloved Leopold's face. "I knew you wouldn't believe me so I had to force you into it"

"Kenny...?" Butters finally regain his senses and with his hand shaking, he reached it out to touch Kenny's face. It was a soft touch and trembling. "Why...? Why are you...? How?" Kenny grabbed his hands and gently pulled him closer for a hug. Leo bursted into tears and wrapped his as around Kenny's neck. "It's really you!!"

Kenny was so happy that Butters didn't freak out and ran away. He wasn't completely worried about that because he knew how much Leo loved him, after all, he had witnessed it when he first died in front of him. They stayed still, holding and hugging each other, and it felt like the time had stopped.

After that episode in Kenny's room, the two took off and went to the hill, the one where everything started. Butters pulled over and parked his car. They both got out the car and walked up the hill, holding each other's hands. Once they reached the top, they sat down, and stared at each other.

"So... How many times... Um... Have you died?" Butters asked in his soft and sweet voice.

"Too many times" Kenny snickered, scratching the back of his neck, and looked on the ground. He began to play around with the grass and continued, "All I know is that my folks got involved with this cult at a Necronomicon here in South Park--for stupidest reason too, like, free beer and stuff; the cult's worshipers did something to my mom... That's all I know." He paused to look up at Butters' face, and continued "When I was a kid.. whenever I died.. my mom would gave birth to me over and over again... Apparently, it takes about 1 hour or two for me to grow back to my current age. It wasn't until I was 10 years old that I would come back and wake up in my bedroom... All grown up"

Butters listened to the story and Kenny couldn't help but notice how focus he was. He listened to everything in silence and nodded. He would furrow his brows from time to time, he did that to pay attention to Kenny's story, not because he was upset. After Kenny finished talking, they looked at each other for another moment. Butters began to cry and sob quietly. The young in orange clothing gave Leo a weak smile. He didn't like making his boyfriend cry. He extended his hand out so he could wipe the tears.

"Baby, please stop crying..." He whispered closer to his face and gave him a kiss, then they press their forehead against each other. "I'm here. That's all that matters, right?"

"I-I know... Please... Be more careful next time?" Butters sobbed quietly and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's neck. "It was so... It was beyond awful... Watching your body... Lifeless "

"Pffft" Kenny let out a snicker and hugged him back, "Believe me, ever since we started dating, I've been extremely careful. But... Death seems taking a like to me dying"

"I can't even imagine going through so much pain" Leo moved let go of the hug to press his lips against Kenny's, then they went back to look into his eyes. That was when it hit him, "H-hang on... You said that... Your soul wanders around after your death... D-does that mean.. when I f-first s-saw you die.. " he was wondering if Kenny witnessed the whole 'I love you Kenny! I can't live without you' part at the hospital.

"Yup! I saw the whole thing!" Kenny gave him a nod and a big smile, "usually it takes me... Well... I don't really know how long to come back... But when the piano fell on me, I died, and came back... It felt like it happened almost instantly. I think your love for me is so stro--"
