Lin's Pov
The ambulance finally arrived and Lily was barely conscious. They rushed her into the ambulance and raced off. I am so scared that she isn't going to make it. I jump into my car while Vanessa stays with Sebastian and the girls. Once I make it to the ER they tell me that she has to get her stomach pumped. I sit down and start to cry. I could have prevented this. She could die because I didn't do anything. All I did is tell her it would be okay. I could have told her so much more, but I didn't...
"Mr. Miranda?" My trail of thought was cut of by a nurse.
" Yes, thats me." I told him.
" Your daughter is out, but is unconscious. The surgery had a few minor hiccups. She did die twice during the surgery. " My heart dropped.
" Is she okay though?" I asked him.
" Yes. We were able to get her heart pumping again. She is alive. She is in a unconscious state and is unstable. But she is alive. You can visit her in an hour.
" Okay. Thank you so much." He moved me from the ER waiting room to the ICU waiting room. I decided to call Vanessa while I was waiting.

Vanessa arrived in 20 minutes later after dropping Sebastian and the twins off at my parents. That last 40 minutes were excruciating. I just wanted to see my baby girl. We finally got called back to see her. She looked so calm and peaceful but also almost looked... Dead. She was pale and lifeless. I walked up to her bed and pushed some hair out of her face. Her heart rate machine went crazy. I pulled away to and pushed the button to get a doctor. A bunch of doctors rushed in and told us to wait in the waiting room.
" Please stay.... Please." I whispered.
