Conversations with myself

Talking to you is always an experience.

It continues to shock me

No matter how often it happens.

You're the only one who completely understands me,

Even when I don't understand myself.

We're always on the same wavelength,

Our thoughts seemingly intertwined.

You know me so well,

Yet you never judge me for my mistakes.

You only want what's best for me.

You're the only one I can trust fully,

The only one I can count on completely.

Because when push comes to shove,

The only one that will never turn on me,

Is me.
