The class lined up to go to the assembly.

I was literally shaking, thinking a billion things in my head.

~will everyone hate me after this?
How will people react?
Is my speech good enough ?~

Either way, I had to do it. I stepped out of line when we reached the auditorium and Jennie grabbed my arm,

"Where are you going?!" She asked

"You'll see," I said. Leaving her anticipating and confused

I met the principal backstage, and greeted her,

"Good morning," I said to her

"Good morning, you know Y/N it's very brave of you to do this for me. I want you to know I'm very grateful, you've surely grown up."

The principal who I had known all my life had definitely seen me grow up, starting with my rebellious ways in elementary when she was just a beginner teacher

"It's no problem, it's the least I can do for you," I said

It was time for me to make the announcement.
If there was anything that I stuck with it was,
"Never let them see you sweat"
So I walked on stage confidently although inside I was literally crying

"Good morning, East Girls Academy. I know many of you are wondering what this assembly is about. We are having a very exciting change to our school. Starting tomorrow all grades from the West Boys Academy will be attending this school. Although this is sudden and very shocking the school staff wants you to know this was a decision made by the education board. When the boys arrive tomorrow many of your ranks will change, either way, it goes we want you to treat them with respect and do your best no matter what. Thank you ."

I ended my speech and looked over at everyone.

Some people looked excited, some sad, angry, confused and some were already complaining.

Now that the speech was over with I was relieved until it finally hit me that boys will be joining our school!!
