After school at Volleyball practice, I was nervous and excited to meet the Boys team. Since people always say that they're so much better than us I couldn't wait to prove that we're just as good.

Since I was named the Best Striker nobody has been able to receive my spikes. So coach thought it would be good if we showed them my spikes as soon as they walked through the door.

Our youngest, Lisa, staring out the window yelled,

"They're here !" The girls got into practice positions either doing push ups or sit ups but I was on the net.

"You already know what to do Y/N" coach said.

I nodded.

He then raised the ball in the air, as that happened the Boys team walked in. I don't know how high I jumped but it was really high. I then hit the ball with my left hand instead of my right which I didn't do unless I was trying to show off. I could hear gasps coming from the Boys team and giggles from my team.

After, my team got in a line facing the Boys team while I stood by the Coach. One of the Boys picked up the ball that I had hit and it was completely inflated. My coach fist pumped me, as I stood beside him.

"Good morning girls," the Boys Volleyball Coach said to us. "I'm almost certain your coach has told you about the events taking place. Both you guys and my team will go through a series of stages testing your skill. The captains will assist you through it. Any questions?"

Someone was staring at me, I could feel it. After shaking my head no I examined the boy's faces. I had seen all of them in school earlier even the arrogant boy's friend. Until I looked at the captain who was staring me in the face. I blinked, wiped my eyes and did everything I could to unsee him. But it was him, the arrogant boy, Eun-woo.

After seeing the look on my face, he laughed and looked back at his friend.

"Captains!" My coach said snapping me out of my thoughts. "From now on you will stand beside each other and work together. We'll give you time to decide what skill to test your teammates with."

"Yes coach" Eunwoo and I said in unison

I couldn't believe I had to make decisions and work with him. He seems like a total narcissist.

"So what do you think we should test them on first?" I asked him

"I don't know what I think yet. But I already know what you're thinking of." He said

"What? " I asked puzzled

"Don't be coy. Miss "Best Striker". You don't want our fellow teammates to start off with spikes? So you can tell them that they're doing it wrong and show them the perfect way you do it." He said

"You're wrong but you probably don't comprehend that well. I wanted to start with receiving because that's something I struggle with. I was hoping someone from your team could help me and my teammates. So is that what you want to do?"

He just stood there. It's almost like no one has ever proven him wrong before. He looked away from me

"Ok so it's final I'll tell the coaches...." I said awkwardly and began walking towards the coaches. I told them, what we but mostly I decided on.

Eunwoo stood behind me when the coaches said,

"We'll have Eunwoo spike for the girl's team maybe 10 times for each teammate to see how well they receive. Y/N you'll spike for the boy's team after Eun-woo. Got it?" Coach asked

"Yes sir," we both said

As I walked off, Eunwoo said,

"Sorry in advance"

I sighed, "for what"

"Well after this all of your teammate's hands will be broken" he responded with an evil smile

I rolled my eyes, and decided to fire back at him,

"I guess that makes the both of our teammates," I said and walked off
