"Memory" sneak peek!

I have written out a sneak peek for the prequel story "Memory" I'm working on! This passage will be used in the final story though it may be revised and edited some. Enjoy!

     Cry. That's all he could do. Sit there in the corner and cry. The sun was shining brightly but his world was dark.
     A memory to slowly fade away. He intended that title for someone else. Yet it went to him.
     Worthless. Weak. Annoying. Crazy.
     Simple words he knew all to well.
     "Because of you..." he murmured, hugging his plush toy close.
     He felt his body convulse in heavy sobs.
     His bottom lip quivered and his eyes were glossy, as if they were threatening to spill tears at any second.
     He heard footsteps approaching him, he didn't bother raising his head.
     "So you miss me?" A familiar voice asked.
     He took a moment to respond.
     "No..." he finally said and looked up.
     "I don't miss you... I miss who you were..." he felt the tears well up in his eyes again. "I miss my friend, not you..."
     He turned his back, not paying any more attention to the situation.
     He exhaled the air he'd been holding in and ran off.
     Who knew being a kid would be so hard?
