A Christmas Carol

(No original names this time XD this chapter takes place at no point in this story, it's just this au (except not high school) and probably before the actual Christmas episode lol also yay! Miss Bitters finally makes an appearance! Keep in mind this is a ZaDr au so... don't expect anything different ^^)

3rd person POV

     "Alright Gir, I'm heading to skool!" Zim yelled at his robot assistant who was currently covering himself up in a large Santa hat.
     "Merry jingly!" He responded cheerfully.
     Zim rolled his eyes and brushed it off. Gir was idiotic. It was a well known fact.
     KNOCK KNOCK
     Zim heard someone at the door. He sighed and went to answer it.
     "Hiya Zimmy!" Dib said cheerfully.
     "Um, hi...!" Zim tried to lower his voice since he knew Dib didn't like yelling.
     Dib was wearing his usual outfit with the edition of a Santa hat on his head. It was like Gir's, but dark blue.
     Dib was also covered in small, white flakes.
    "Huh...?" Zim tilted his head curiously.
     "What's wrong?"
     "What are those white flakes all over you?"
     "Snowflakes!" Dib laughed.
     "What's that?" Zim asked.
     Dib smiled and stepped aside. Zim's eyes widened. Everything was covered in a white, fluffy blanket. The flakes scattered on Dib's clothes were falling from the sky.
 

  "Woah..." Zim stepped out into it.
     Dib blinked, "hey, careful Zim, snow is made of-" he was cut off my Zim screaming and running back inside.
    "-water..." Dib finished quietly.
     Zim glared at the snow.
     "Here just take this" Dib handed him an umbrella.
     "What's this for?"
     Dib grabbed onto the collar of Zim's shirt and dragged him outside. Oddly enough, the door shut on its own behind him.
     Before the snowflakes could touch Zim, Dib opened the umbrella and held it over him.
     "There we go!" He cheered.
     "Heh... thanks!" Zim smiled a little.
     "Anytime Zimmy! Now c'mon, we're gonna be late for school!"
     Dib handed Zim the umbrella and started walking. Zim followed quickly after.
     As soon as they set foot on school property, a snowball came hurling towards them. The both jumped out if the way at the right time.
     "Chaos..." Dib murmured. He grabbed Zim's hand and speed walked into the building.
     Once they were inside, Dib grabbed the umbrella and pit it down, he then gave it back to Zim.
     "Keep it, you need it more!"
     Zim simply nodded and took the umbrella.
     They both walked into the classroom right as the bell rang.
     "Sit down!" Miss Bitters snarled.
     Dib shuddered and took his seat, Zim did the same.
     "Now as you all know, Christmas is tomorrow" Miss Bitters stated.
     The class nodded in response.
     "The school has decided that this year we will be doing... "secret Santa""
     The whole class cheered except for Dib and Zim.
Dib just hated loud noises.
Zim didn't know what the hell was going on.
     Miss Bitters held up a small basket.
     "Grab a piece of paper from this basket, whoever you draw is your "secret Santa"" she said reluctantly.
     Everyone stood up and grabbed a piece.
     Dib and Zim shared a confused look quickly.
     "You have until tomorrow to get your gifts in!" Miss Bitters muttered.
     "Shouldn't we get longer?" Some kid asked.
     "Silence!" Miss Bitters hissed.
     The class sunk back in their seats.
     "Anyways, I've decided that you'll be having school on Christmas!"
     "What!?" The class said in unison.
     "BE QUIET!" She shouted. "Christmas is a pointless, useless, annoying holiday! You should be at school!"
     Dib stared at her in awe, he glanced at Zim, who just looked confused.
     Suddenly the bell rang.
    "Go to recess!" Miss Bitters commanded.
     The class got up individually and walked out of the classroom and outside.
     Dib kept walking but Zim stayed on the steps.
     "Aren't you coming?" Dib asked.
     "No! It's fucking freezing!" Zim snapped.
     Dib sighed. "Language" he reminded him softly.
     "Sorry" Zim muttered.
     Dib walked back up the steps to where Zim was.
     "No worries Zimmy" he smiled.
     Zim sat down quietly, Dib did the same.
     Out of nowhere, a snowball hit Dib in the face.
    "W-what?" Dib brushed the snow off of his face.
     "Ha!" Zim started laughing.
     "Oh, is that funny?" Dib asked.
     "Pretty damn funny" Zim laughed.
     "Good" Dib murmured. He picked up some snow in his hands and made a ball.
     Zim stopped laughing. "What are you-?
     Zim was cut off my a snowball bring thrown at his face.
     "What was that for?" He tilted his head.
     "Just wait" Dib smiled calmly.
     "What do you mea-" the snow started to melt.
     "AHHH!!!" Zim screamed suddenly, he jumped up and started running in circles.
     "I'm sorry!" Dib said through laughter.
     "You pathetic human!" Zim yelled while running.
     Dib smiled innocently. "Hm?"
     Zim stopped running. "You're lucky you're cute" he growled.
     "Here, lemme help" Dib stood up, he used the fabric from his shirt to wipe the snow off.
      As if on cue, the bell rang.
      Dib smiled and walked inside for lunch. (Yes, I'm shortening the school day to keep the story moving lol)
      As soon as everyone sat down to eat, a message cane through the speakers.
     "Attention students, please remember that you have school on Christmas, thanks to a suggestion by Miss Bitters!" The speaker turned off.
     The cafeteria was silent for a minute.
      "Why would she do this?" One kid finally spoke up.
     "She's evil!" Another said.
     "She hates kids!"
     "She hates Christmas!"
     Everyone started talking over each other loudly.
     Dib sighed and covered his ears.
