I'm going to tell him--
Ignoring my horoscope
Under my latest research--
How to ask a guy out.
Not my best chance,
I think to myself,
If only I knew he didn't know me then.
Boys are so simple
I realized
On the second day of sophomore year
As he told me he forgot my name during the ice- breaker.
But I'm going to tell him,
Careful to ask like my horoscope said,
But really,
I had already thought of precautions.
'I like you--
Please, will you go out with me?'
Adding insistence like my studies have shown.
I tell you,
Never did I feel so overwhelmed before,
Not able to think of an answer in my more than 4 point grade average,
But there's his existence,
Which proves my beliefs wrong
And messes up my chemistry and health.
