My eyes fluttered open, to gaze around at the scene I was currently in, only to see I was lying down on a cold floor and dry blood occupying different parts of the room. I shivered, pulling my knees up and leaned against the wall. I wrapped my arms around my legs and switched my sight to get a good look of my surroundings.

The walls were a disgusting cream colour. Well, part of it. most of the paint was peeled off. The room was empty. No bed. No wardrobe. No window- well, I think there was but someone had hammered a piece of wood on it, so no light could get inside.

I groaned, shakily running a hand through my tousled hair. My frown turned deeper as I observed all the cobwebs. It was dark, cold, damp. I just wanted to get out of this hell hole. Where was I? I should be home right now, with my parents. Having fun.

The dirty, creaky door opened abruptly, pulling me out of my thoughts. Madison, now stood before me. That’s when it all kicked in. I had been kidnapped. All of yesterdays events played in my mind.

I stared at Madison, my eyes filled with hatred. “What?!” I spat, ferociously.

“Uhm, Jason’s calling you.” She whispered awkwardly, not willing to meet my gaze. She’s probably guilty. I don’t care. I hope she dies from the guilt. She has ruined my life.

“I’m not going,” I scoffed.

“You kinda have to. Or else he’ll punish you...” She trailed off.

“Whatever!” I stood up, brushing some dust off my clothes before smoothly walking towards the door, making sure to bump into her at the same time. She stumbled, but soon followed behind me. I stopped walking after a bit, not knowing where I was going.

“Follow me,” She squeaked.

I rolled my eyes following her. I took steady steps, trying to waste time. We finally reached a room. I’m guessing it was the living room, considering there was a TV in there. The TV was the only give-away. This place didn’t even look like a house. It seemed as though only the room that I was in was disgusting. The rest of the house was much better. Man! These people were filthy rich.

I walked right into the room to see McCann seated on the couch. Next to him sat 2 teenage boys. I looked to my left to see a girl sitting on the other couch. Madison eventually sat down next to the girl, smiling at her in the process. I passed them both a deadly glare. Madison awkwardly coughed once she saw me.

I turned back to McCann. “What? Why did you call me?!” I snapped at him. His eyes turned dark, and he sat up straight from his slouching position.

“Don’t raise your voice at me, bitch!” he roared, making me slightly jump. I simply stared at him, which didn't seem to make this situation any less awkward. He was kind of cute. But he’s a kidnapper. There’s no way I’m gonna fall for this ruthless, killer. Damn, why do criminals have to be so good looking. Wow, did I just say that.

I rolled my eyes at him as I noticed that I was staring into his eyes for quite some time and he was doing the same.

“And don't you dare roll your fucking eyes at me,” He growled. I narrowed my eyes at him, refraining from another eye roll.

“Now, I have some rules in this house. And you are not to break them,” He eyed me. I nodded, unwillingly.

“You have to clean the house when I tell you to. You can’t roll your eyes at me. No glares. Certainly no sarcasm. No bad- mouthing me. If you do any of those things there will be a punishment. Most likely, a good beating. Understood?” he smirked. I looked down, sighing. “I said, understood?!” he exclaimed.
