“Get up! We need to get out of this place quickly,” someone said a little too loudly right into my ear. I groaned, struggling to open my eyes.

There in front of me stood Justin. I rubbed my eyes, trying to stand up, but the wretched rope around my hands held me back. “Err, Justin? A little help here?”

“Oh,” He murmured, bending down and un-tying the rope. I stood up, rubbing my sore wrists in the process. “Does it hurt?” he inquired, worriedly.

“Hmm,” I nodded.

“I’m sorry...” He stared into my eyes.

“D-Don’t be. It wasn’t your fault,” I strained to say. Darn it. I stuttered. Way to go, Danielle. I couldn’t speak because I was too starstruck by his big brown eyes. I blinked, turning away from his strong gaze on me.

“Come on,” He murmured, walking out of the room. I followed him all the way downstairs and into the kitchen. “Are you hungry?” he whispered in my ear.

“No,” I shook my head. Just then, my stomach grumbled. Oh, for the love of god. Can things get any more embarrassing?

“I think you are,” He chuckled, pulling out a chair for me at the table. I giggled along with him, sitting down.

“Hey!” I smiled at everyone, as I sat down.

"Hi,” Chloe replied.

“Good morning!” Ryan beamed, and I smiled back at him.

“Aye,” Chaz spoke, which took me by surprise. He never talks to me usually. He’s been mean to me since the first day I’ve come. Well, I guess people can change.

I didn’t get any reply from McCann or Madison. But I’m not complaining. I didn’t expect them to. Just then, Christian walked in. “Danielleeee,” He exclaimed excitedly, sitting down next to me.

“Christiannn,” I mocked him. Justin simply smiled, as he sat across from me.

I took a bite of my toast before speaking. “Where are we going?” I asked, swallowing.

“Somewhere. Away from your dad and everyone. You’re never going home. Ever. You’re staying with us from now on. One day we’ll kill you and it’ll all be over,” McCann replied, deliberately putting emphasis on the words to make me feel even more bad. I awkwardly coughed, as a reply.

“But, that means I have to leave my family too,” Madison moaned, slumping in her seat. Wow. She only thinks about herself. I’m the one that has been kidnapped. I should be worried.

“Sucks to be you,” I spoke bitterly.

“Shut up bitch,” This was the first time she’d answered back to me, since my stay here.

“Make me, whore,” I answered, smartly.

“Whatever,” She rolled her eyes, evidently feeling defeated.

“Whatever,” I mocked her.

“I don’t speak like that!” She shrieked.

“Oh really? You should ask me. you sound like a strangled cat,” I narrowed my eyes at her.

“Shut the hell up!” she screamed.

“Do you really want me to bitchslap you?!” I growled.

ENOUGH!” McCann ordered. We both shut up and continued eating. After that, no one spoke. We all ate in silence.

I was just drinking my orange juice, when someone kicked me under the table. I let out a groan, only to see Madison smirking evilly. I abruptly stood up, the chair making a screeching noise behind me, from its harsh contact with the tiled floor. I carried my glass filled with juice towards her, and poured it all over her head.
