This Is For You

A few days later I wake up and wipe my eyes as usual but I see smoke coming through the bottom of my door. I turn my head and look at it fill in. I don't hear any commotion so I get up and put on my black adidas joggers with white stripes down the side. I run my fingers through my hair and head out the door.

As I walk into the living room, I see Kay coughing and handing the blunt to Tee who is sitting on her lap. "Wassup beautiful" Kay says before coughing. "Come take a hit".

I walk over to the couch and take a seat beside them, but not to close. Tee takes a hit and starts to cough then exhales, adding smoke to the already cloudy living room. She licks her lips then passes it to me and watches as I place it between my lips and inhale. She smiles and looks at me as I exhale and cough slightly, hitting my chest a few times. "The fuck is this?"

Kay and Tee laugh. "That's that good shit" Kay says removing her arms from around Tee. Tee gets up and places herself on my lap, straddling me. My eyes get wide and I look over at Kay. Kay looks at Tee on top of me and slowly licks her bottom lip. Tee takes another hit and blows the smoke into my mouth and I inhale it after her, blowing it from my nose.

I look over at Kay again and she has another blunt in her hand, smoking it with a smirk on her face. Tee turns my face back to her and presses her lips against mine and my hands find their way onto her waist, sliding to her ass.

There's a loud thud and my eyes open up to see Tee with a laundry basket in her hand in the room I'm sleeping in.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" she says clutching the basket. "I was just about to do laundry so I figured I throw some of your clothes in" she looks down and at the floor.

"It's okay" I reply, giving her a smile. "Can you pass me that shirt over there?" I point to the shirt laying over the chair in the corner. She grabs it and tosses it to me as I sit up in the bed. She quickly looks away and picks up the few clothes I have in a small pile. "What time is it?" I ask, still groggy.

"It's like 8:30. I'm an early bird" she chuckles.

"Hey uh, what does Kay do?" I ask, putting the shirt on.

"What do you mean?"

"Like for work. I've known her years and never knew what she does. But she always has money. She sell drugs?"

Tee laughs and looks at me. "No sweetie, she works online selling and trading. I don't quite understand it but she does it well so I just let her do her"

"Oh, got you" Tee continues to put the clothes into the basket and I sit on the edge of the bed, pulling on some grey joggers.

"What are you doing today?" She asks, standing at the door before she walks out.

"Uh, I'm not sure yet"

"Want to go to the zoo with me and Kay?" she asks, fiddling with the basket.

"Uh, yeah sure. Third wheeling sounds fun" she laughs as I make that statement.

She runs her fingers through her braids and smiles, blushing. "You won't be a third wheel. You're coming" she says before walking out. I shrug to myself and stand up.

I walk over to the nightstand and look at my phone, checking my notifications. There's 17 messages from Baby. She hasn't stopped hitting me up since she saw me at the hospital. I don't reply I just clear them out and walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth.
