I opened my eyes to darkness. My eyes slowly adjusted and I found myself in my room. Jack must have carried me in when I fell asleep. I tried to get up but I utterly failed to do so. The pain in my chest caused my to stay still until I fell asleep again.......

I woke up again, this time, the sun shining outside. I looked around and found Jack on the floor sitting, leaning against the bed frame, reading a manga. He did that a lot. He wasn't as big a fan as me but still enjoyed reading it once in a while.
"Hey..." I mumbled painfully. Wow even talking hurt.
"Huh?" she whipped around shocked. When he saw I was awake, he dropped the 3rd volume of Naruto he was reading and came to sit beside me on the bed.
"Ah sleeping beauty finally wakes. " he joked.
"Shut up." I mumbled.
"Hey do you need anything?" he asked.
"Well if you don't mind, can you get me the first two volumes of Fruits Basket and a glasses of water or something?"
"Sure. Oh and Dylan's home."
He walked out of the room with that. Oh yea I forgot about Dylan. He's my little brother. Dylan has choppy brown hair and green eyes. He's really hyper but cute and loving sometimes too. He had gone on a youth trip with some friends.
Jack soon came back with a glass of water and got the mangas I wanted off my shelves. I had just started to read them when something burst into my room with a smile on its face. Dylan. When he saw me, his smile turned to a frown.
"Hey buddy." I said to him.
"Hi Lee. What happened?"
"Jack didn't tell you?"
"No."
"I just got into a fight."
He came over and sat beside me then slowly leaned back until he was laying beside me. Tears were starting to form at the corners of his eyes as he started sobbing.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I don't like it when your hurt!" he cried.
"I'll be fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
He smiled and whipped away the tears. I put my arms around his small shoulders and pulled him closure until his head rested on my shoulder. After a while, he fell asleep so a layed my chin on his head and fell asleep with him.
Yea yea I know it's short. Deal with it. I haven't updated in a while so I had to hurry up and do something ok? btw I promise I'll update a chapter a day. it won't necessarily be on this book but it'll still be a new chapter.
