Gabriel landed swiftly at the small parking lot of Wallhounds super market. He folded his wings flat against his back, and made his way to the automatic doors grabbing a cart before entering.

Cool air conditioning whipped through his hair and feathers as he pushed the cart through the entrance. His phone buzzed, knowing that it was Castiel sending the list of groceries they needed. He opened the text message, and sure enough it was Castiel.

Cassie sent you a message at 10:07 am:

1 pound Ham (cold cuts)

1 pound American Cheese (cold cuts)

Jesus, what did Cassie want a reenactment of the last supper? Gabriel shook his head and proceeded to look for the egg isle. After he had gotten the first few things on the list, Gabriel could feel he was already getting bored.

"Ugh. Didn't have to do shopping when we were at our old home..." Gabriel complained to himself, though he knew all too well he'd much rather go through a few errand runs than be back at that dreadful, way too big mansion.

"Alright, next... Vegetables." Gabriel was about to walk over to the isle that read "Vegetables and fruit" when a lightbulb went off inside his head.

"If I'm gonna do chores... Might as well make it fun, right?" He smirked to himself at his brilliant idea.

Gabriel stretched out his wings, fluttering them a couple times to shake the joints in his wing muscles loose. He then lifted them higher into flight position, and flapped up and down steadily. He hovered in the air for a few moments, before he launched himself, along with the cart, and flew across the isles.

Gabriel sped past each isle, making sudden turns and making the wheels of his cart screech with every turn. His wings glided him with ease, only needing to flap every couple heart beats. Gabriel smiled to himself proudly, before he turned a corner to another isle and his heart almost skipped a beat when he saw someone standing right in the middle of the isle, blocking his way.

Gabriel had barley enough time to get out a warning before he rapidly turned the cart the other way, only to smack his back right into the strangers side.

At first the only thing Gabriel could comprehend was the stars that were swirling above him. Then the slight pain in his head from the contact of skull to tile. Gabriel slowly lifted himself up with his elbow, using his free hand to cup the side of his forehead. His wings were sprawled across the floor tile, and he could feel an excruciating pain from the base of his right wing. He immediately knew he had popped it out of it's socket.
