Chapter Seven-

The rest of the car ride to Sydney was filled with excitement and nervousness as Ella and I tried to come up with a plan to get into the boys sold out concert. We knew that we couldn't just walk in without a ticket and claim we knew the boys. Even if we did, we had done some research on Dale, the man who had kicked us off the boys' bus. And let's just say he wasn't someone you wanted to mess with.

He was the boys' bodyguard as well as bus driver. And was in the army for seven years after high school, and he hadn't gone to college. He was originally American but he had been stationed in Australia and had fallen in love with the city. So when he was relieved of his duties in the military, he moved back here. No wife, no kids, no close family or any family, only nephew who lived here on business. This was about all useful information we could find after googling his name on our phones, but it was useful to know your enemy before you face him.

We pulled off the freeway and into a parking lot of a quaint little diner called "Daisy's."

"Okay I don't care how bad coffee is for you, I seriously need some, right now," Ella whined, jumping out of the car and running into the diner. I laughed and followed her inside, the bell jingling as the door swung open.

"Welcome to Daisy's! Seat yourself love," a petite women pouring coffee into an older gentlemen's cup, called. I smiled at the waitress and took a seat at the counter. I couldn't see Ella anywhere, she'd probably gone to the toilet or something...

"Hello love," a boy my age said, sitting down next to me, a glass of orange juice in his hands. He smirked at me and took a sip of his drink before speaking again.

He had white blonde hair and very bright green eyes. His teeth were straight and whiter than I had ever seen any before. He was quite handsome actually, not Ashton handsome, but...

"You're very beautiful, you know that?" the boy said, his words slurring a bit.

Oh no.

"Thank you, but I was just leaving," I said getting up from my seat and turning around looking for Ella or anyone who could help me get out of this situation. Gosh how long does it take for a girl to pee!?

"But you just got here, stay for a drink with me at least," the blonde boy slurred even more, gripping onto my arm. I whimpered and writhed under his painful grip.

"Let go of me or I'll scream," I threatened the boy, but he just laughed.

"Didn't think I would be making you scream this early in the relationship," he winked, keeping a firm hold on my arm. And in that moment I screamed so loud that I think I broke a few light bulbs.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at us. The petite waitress and older cook ran to my side as Ella burst out of the bathroom with toilet paper stuck to her shoe.

"Stephen! Get your hands off this girl right now!" the cook yelled at the boy, grabbing his arm and yanking him off me.

"Get out!" the waitress yelled hitting him with the broom she was holding.

"See you later, babe" Stephen slurred, tripping on his way out of the door.

"What the hell was that?" Ella yelled, fear clearly shown on her face.

"Dear are you alright?" the waitress asked, she and the cook looking at me expectantly.

"Yes just a little shook up that's all," I replied. "Thank you both," I said giving them the best smile I could muster.

"Can we get you anything?" the cook asked. "On the house."

"Two coffees please," Ella jumped in. The waitress just laughed.

"Coming right up!" she said, running to get two mugs and a pitcher, as Ella and I sat back down at the counter.

"Okay you wouldn't talk about it in the restaurant, and I know I shouldn't ask, but what happened while I was in the toilet?" Ella asked me as we pulled out of "Daisy's" parking lot.

"I really don't wanna talk about it," I said looking out the window.

"Oh come on Lay," Ella pushed. "Studies show that if something traumatic happens, you are around 50% more likely to feel better about it if you talk to someone.

"Of course you would know a pointless fact like that," I said smirking at her.

"Hey!" she laughed, pretending to be hurt. I just laughed with her.

"Fine," I said giving in and explaining the whole Stephen situation to her.

"Wow," Ella mumbled after I finished. "Well from now on I'm not going to the bathroom without you," she teased.

"Very funny," I said with a smile. "But seriously though," I said becoming serious. "Don't."

"Don't worry," Ella giggled, as we turned back onto the busy freeway.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"We still don't know how we're going to get into the concert," I said after 5SOS' album had gone through its third consecutive loop in the car stereo.

"I think I have an idea. But it's a little farfetched..." Ella said.

"Well it's better than what we have right now, which is absolutely nothing," I mumbled sleepily, it was only nine in the morning, how was I tired?

"Well, who can get into any concert without tickets?" Ella asked.

"Beyoncé," I answered, "And sadly I don't have her number on speed dial."

Ella just laughed. "That's not what I meant. I'm saying we could pose as reporters that want to have 5 Seconds of Summer as their cover story."

I thought about it for a while. Could this possibly work? Posing as reporters? At this point I didn't care as long as I could see Ash again and make sure he could help us and the studio.

"I think I know someone who can help us with that," I smiled.

"Whoooo Hoooo!!!" Ella yelled as she turned up the radio and blasted "Kiss Me Kiss Me" by 5SOS as loud as it could go, speeding down the freeway towards the Hordern Pavilion.
