»Chapter 1«

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock. I jump out of bed and turned off the alarm. It was approximately 6:00 in the morning. Soon I'd be heading to Magcon with my best friend Shawn! I ran to my closet and started looking for a cute yet comfy outfit. I finally decided on a navy blue crop top and white high waisted shorts. I set my clothes out on my bed and got a towel. I walked in the bathroom and turned on the water. While I was waiting for the water to get warm enough, I started trying to figure how I should do my makeup. Not too much, but not too little. Maybe no eyeshadow? I thought to myself. Finally, I decided on no eyeshadow, but definitely eyeliner and mascara. Once I decided, I checked to see if the water was warm enough. It was, so I hurried and got in. I procrastinated on shaving my legs because well, who doesn't? I ended up shaving them anyways, and I got out of the shower. I wrapped the towel around me and walked back into my bedroom. The clock read 6:28. Only 32 minutes until Shawn picks me up! I got dressed and ran back to the bathroom while throwing my light brown hair up in a messy bun. As I started putting on my makeup, there was a knock at the door. I bolted down the stairs and opened the door.

"Bailey!!!" my best friend Savanna said as she hugged me.

"Savanna! What are you doing here? I leave in about 30 minutes!" I exclaimed surprised that she was here.

"I just thought I'd come say goodbye since you'll be gone for the next few days. Are you excited? I mean this is the first time you're going on tour with Shawn!" she said.

"Yea! Of course I'm excited.. Do you wanna come eat breakfast?" I asked.

"Totally!" she laughed.

We walked to the kitchen, and she got out the bowls while I got the cereal. We both had the same favorite cereal: Frosted Flakes. We ate and talked about the guys that are going on the tour. Neither of us had ever met them, but Shawn seems to enjoy hanging out with them.

Savanna checked her phone and said "Whoa! Its been 20 minutes! I'll clean this up. You go finish getting ready!" she said quickly.

I bolted upstairs and into the bathroom. I applied my basic makeup and then started putting on my eyeliner. I was in a rush, but I did not want to mess this up. Once that was accomplished, I applied mascara. I looked in the mirror and made sure nothing was smeared on my face.

I went back downstairs. Savanna had just gotten finished with the dishes.

"Thanks so much!" I gave Savanna a hug.

"No problem! You still have about 5 minutes to spare." she smiled. "I better go before Shawn gets here. Please, please, please get a picture with Taylor!"

"I will!" I laughed.

"Or take a video with him!" she said excitedly.

"Okay. Okay. I will! Now you better get going if you want to leave before Shawn gets here." I exclaimed.

"Right! Call me every night before you go to bed so I can hear all about it!" she said and hugged me one last time.

"I promise I will!" we hugged for what felt like forever. "Bye!" I finally said as she headed down the street to her house.

I went back upstairs to figure out what shoes to wear. Converse or vans? I thought to myself. Vans! I picked up my navy blue vans to go with my shirt. I slipped them on and made sure I had everything packed in my suitcase. All of a sudden, I realized I hadn't packed my bathroom bag. I looked at the clock it read 7:01. Shawn would be arriving any minute now! I hurried into the bathroom and got the bag out from under the sink I had meant to pack. I had shoved most of my makeup in when there was another knock at the door. Oh no... I thought. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. There stood Shawn.

"Hey! Are you ready?" Shawn smiled and then hugged me.

"Uh.. yea. Almost. Just one last thing to put in my suitcase." I replied.

"That's cool. Maybe 5 more minutes?" he asked.

"Yea.." I scratched my head. "That sounds pretty good."

"Great. I'll wait in the car." he insisted.

I bolted back up the stairs. Let's see... I already have makeup. Now toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, hair spray, shampoo, conditioner, etc. I thought of a bunch of things. In about 4 minutes I had packed everything and put it in my suitcase. Then I checked to make sure I had everything in my suitcase. Phone charger, clothes, shoes, swimsuit, sunglasses, etc. Yes, I had everything. I got my suitcase and headed down the stairs. Right before I walked out the door I grabbed my letterman jacket. Shawn got out of the car and got my suitcase. He put it in the back while I got in the front seat.

Once he got in he said "So are you excited to meet the boys?"

"Yea! A little nervous, but yea I'm totally ready!" I explained.

"There is no reason to be nervous. You'll love them! I'm pretty sure they will love you too!"

He started the car, we were off to the hotel!
