»Chapter 4«

I opened my eyes. I was lying next to Shawn on the bed still. He was watching a YouTube video. I looked up at him.

"Hey! You're awake!" Shawn turned the phone off and gave me a one armed hug.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked.

"About three or four hours." he said and planted a kiss on my temple.

We were those kind of best friends where we could hold hands if we got scared or kiss each other on the cheek for no reason. It's not that we thought of each other in that way. We were just really great friends. That's what I like about our friendship. We didn't have to be a couple to do those things.

I decided to get up and look to see how horrific my hair was. I walked in he bathroom and looked in the mirror. I was surprised to see that it didn't look that bad. I threw it up in a messy bun and went back out of the bathroom. I checked my phone, and it read 5:24. So, I'd probably fallen asleep around 1:00 or 2:00.

"So, have you heard anything from the guys?" I asked.

"Yea, they said they were going to the pool. I told them you were asleep, so they said we could meet them down there when you woke up if you wanted to." he explained.

"Yea, I'm down!" I said.

I took a different swimsuit to the bathroom and changed while Shawn changed in the other room. This time I was wearing a coral bikini top with black bottoms. Once I walked out of the bathroom, Shawn was already changed. I grabbed my purse with the keys and my phone. Shawn grabbed the towels. We headed down to the pool. When we got there, all the guys were hollering and splashing each other. I giggled at how crazy they looked. Shawn and I sat out stuff down.

"Well, look who's finally awake!" Hayes shouted.

"Yea. Very funny, Hayes!" I yelled back placing my hands on my hips.

"Instead of just standing there, why don't you jump in, Sleeping Beauty?" Taylor said.

I laughed and jumped in the deep end. We swam around playing all different kinds of games. They even threw me around again. After about and hour or two, I decided to get out and check my phone. No messages and no calls. I guess Savanna found something to do... probably stalk Taylor on every social media she has. I laughed. Then I checked the time. I couldn't believe it was almost 8:45. I put my phone back and then got back in the pool. We swam around not even caring that it was dark outside. We played more games, and the later it got the more chill most of us were.

"Yo! Guys!" Aaron shouted. I guessed he had gotten out of the pool. "Its almost 11:00!"

"Is it really?" I asked.

He nodded and turned his phone where we could all see. We all started getting out of the pool. I dried off, and we walked back to our rooms. I was having so much fun so far. Even though it has only been two days... We got back to our rooms, and I was the first one to get in the shower. This time I took extra long. Once I got in, I started thinking... Do I really like Nash? Is he just like any other guy, or is he different? Should I ask Shawn about it? Should I tell Savanna? Should I just keep this to myself, or should I just forget about all of this? Then there was a knock on the door.

"Bailey?" Shawn called.

"Yes?" I called back.

"You okay in there?" he asked.

"Yea! Sorry! I was just caught up in my thoughts!" I replied.

I hurried and got out of the shower, I did my normal routine of drying and brushing my hair. Then I was out of the bathroom. Shawn went in, and I jumped in my bed. After swimming, I was tired out! I flipped through channels till I remembered I had to call Savanna! I dialed her number quickly.

"Bay-bay!" Savanna squealed.

"Savanna!" I squealed back.

"What's up?" she asked.

"Well, we went to the pool again. Oh! That reminds me! Sorry that I'm calling at like 1:00 in the morning. I legit just got out of the shower." I apologized.

"I wasn't planning on sleeping anytime soon." she laughed.

"Yea, I know. You're stalking your boo, right?" I joked.

"Totes!" she joked back.

"Anyways.. Well, we kinda chilled today. I fell asleep, probably around 1:00 or 2:00. Then I woke up around 5:30. Shawn and I met the guys at the pool. We hung out there until about an hour or two ago." I explained.

"Ahh. Cool. Cool. Well, I'm glad you're having fun!" she said.

"Yea! It's awesome! I miss you!" I said.

"Yea. I miss you too!" she said.

"Well, I'm gonna have to call you back in the morning. I'm getting pretty tired." I yawned.

"Okie dokie! Goodnight!" she said.

"Night!" I hung up.

As soon as I hung up, Shawn got out of the shower. He looked over at me in confusion.

"Who were you talking to?" he asked.

"Oh, I was on the phone with Savanna. She wants me to call every night, and I just remembered." I replied.

"Ahhh." he said.

I put my phone on the end table and plugged it up to the charger. I threw Shawn the remote as I sunk down in my bed.

"You going to sleep?" he asked as he caught the remote.

"Yea. Those guys can really ware you out." I said.

"Tell me about it!" he laughed.

I turned off the lamp and drifted off to sleep.
