(an hour after the phone call)

There was a knock on the bathroom door. I really didn't want to answer it. I probably looked like a wreck from crying.

"Bailey, are you in there?" I heard Savanna's voice.

"Yea." I tried to hide that I was crying.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"Yea, I'm fine!" I replied trying not to sound upset.

"Okay. I didn't know where you were." she said and I heard footsteps fade from the outside of the bathroom.

I was glad she didn't notice I was crying. Even though I did kinda wanted to be in Matt's arms, I also wanted to be alone. I missed him a little... No, Bailey! What are you saying? He broke up with you! Get over him! I thought about everything I'd done with him. I shook my head, and a tear rolled down my cheek. I didn't even try to wipe it off. I looked down at the floor and watched the tear hit the floor. I tried getting him out of my mind, but every time I looked at something, it reminded me of him. I looked at everything on the counter, and then I looked in the mirror. I looked like a mess. This whole thing mad me so mad and upset. I looked back down at the things on the counter. The next thing I knew, I smacked everything off the top of the counter. I threw the bathroom door open and ran downstairs and slipped on my Rainbow flip flops. I grabbed my house keys and ran out the from door.

"Bailey!" I heard Savanna call after me.

I ignored her. I took off down the road. This time, I went to the front of the neighborhood. I went to the front and got to the stop sign. I had no idea where the heck I was going. I found the bike path and started walking. To be honest, I was a little scared. This time Matt wasn't here to run after me. Shawn was probably practicing. Savanna would probably call Taylor or someone to look for me. I didn't have a jacket, and it looked like it was going to storm. Sure enough, I heard thunder. I walked for an hour or two. I was pretty sure I was downtown. That's really far from my house. I mean we didn't live in a big town, but it would take a good 45 minutes to get there because of traffic. Cars were always passing through because you almost always had to pass through to get to where you're going. It started to rain. I looked around for a Starbucks or food place. I was starving. I only saw stores. Finally, I found a Starbucks. I walked in and ordered a frappe. I got it and sat down at a table by myself. At this point, it was raining hard outside. The thunder shook the whole place, and the lightning lit up the whole sky. It was dark outside from all the clouds.

"Great." I muttered under my breath.

I leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes. Matt still popped in my mind. I took my head off the wall and face palmed myself. Stop thinking about him, Bailey. He's not coming back! My head was hurting from thinking about it so much. I face palmed myself again.

"Miss, are you okay?" the girl from the counter stood by the table.

"Yes, I'm fine." I gave her a fake smile.

She walked away, and I put my head down on the table. You finally get a boyfriend after what happened with Scott, and you break up with him because of some stupid fight! I sighed. Maybe you should've told Matt about Scott... Shut up brain!I was done with my thoughts. That's when I remembered, I didn't have my phone. I couldn't call or text anyone. Savanna was probably worried sick. That's the third time I've run away because of guy troubles. Great.... just great! I felt someone put their hand on my back. I lifted my head to find Zack. I knew him from school.

"Are you okay, Bailey?" he asked.

I shook my head and felt tears start building up. My vision was blurry. I blinked and multiple tears streamed down my face. He took my hand and pulled me out of the chair. I grabbed onto his shirt and cried into his chest. How many guys' shirts was I going to ruin today? He rubbed my back, and I just let the tears fall.
