Archie Andrews slammed the door shut, anger boiling through his veins. Her and Betty had a fight. Again. Ever since Jughead had returned to Riverdale, it seemed like their relationship had crumpled to pieces.

Of course, Archie didn't really commit to the relationship. He cheated on Betty. With only one person. Once. He did it once. With Cheryl Blossom. He had a stressful day, and when he got home, recieved a fight from Betty.

His headache landed him and Cheryl on her bed, and the sinful night was something he decided to put aside.

But now, he was so angered. He wanted to do it again. He needed to be rid of his stress. He pulled out his phone from his back pocket.

Archie-Cheryl, I need you
Archie-Cheryl

Cheryl-No way Ginger Judas. I've changed, and don't even think for a second that I won't tell cousin Betty this.

Archie-CHERYL NO

Archie's eyes widened in saucers. But he didn't seem to care. He would find some other person to go spend the night with.

He scrolled through his contacts and found the perfect target: Veronica Lodge.

Archiekins- Hey Ronnie. Meet me at

He stopped typing. He really didn't know where else to go.

He saw a text from Reggie.

Reggie-Hey man, party at my place? I brought the booze

Archie-Be there

Then, he thought of the perfect plan. He would get Veronica drunk and sleep with her. He also knew that Veronica never missed a party. It seemed like taking advantage of her, but he was needing this.

"Come on, Jones! Loosen up! Maybe you'll even get to meet ladies!" Veronica Lodge pleaded to the beanie wearing boy in front of her. She was convincing him to go to Reggie's party, as she knew it would lessen stress for him.

"Fine. But if this goes to shit, I told you so," he said sarcastically. "C'mon, lets go," he said and began to walk out of the door.

"Hold up." said Veronica and he stopped in his tracks, spinning around to face her.

"Yeah?"
"You aren't wearing that to a party."
"What else am I supposed to wear?"
"This,"

~~~
Betty heard the door slam in front of her. She shed tears and fell apart. Her life seemed so calm, not perfect, but calm. That was, until Jughead Jones came back. She didn't want to call him a butden, but it seemed that he was ruining her perfect dream.
Although, even before Jughead, Betty had already had enough of him. His constant staring at girls—in those moments when his gaze lingered long enough to be known as pervy—, when he would always take advantage of Betty being able to be the perfect american wife, and most importantly, him cheating on her.
Yep. She knew his secret. Cheryl wanted to come clean a few months later, and after that, she was heartbroken, but decided to let it pass.
But this was the last straw. He hurt her. Mentally and Physically. He slapped her, even called her out for trying to cheat on her with Jughead.
She broke up with him. And she told her something that broke her.
"Betty, stop trying to cheat on me! I know you want to!"
She slapped him. Hard on the face. "How. Dare. You."
He shoved her. "What?!"
"Accusing me of cheating on you when you did!"
Archie's face turned pale, and realization dawned on him.
"Betty, I—"
"YES. I KNOW ABOUT CHERYL. SO DARE TOUCH ME AGAIN AND I SWEAR YOU'LL REGRET IT. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
"FINE! YOU'RE NOT EVEN WORTH IT! CHERYL IS BETTER!"
Was she not worth it? What was wrong with her? The thought itself only made her dig her nails into her palms, crescent-shaped scars re-opening.
She opened her door. Walked out of the house. And walked. Walked endlessly.
~~~

The drive to Reggie's house took a while, because he lived across from the usual area of the Northsider kids that went to Riverdale High. Though he was still in the Northside.

While on the drive, Veronica Lodge saw a very human and very blonde figure. She knew that. But who?

It clicked in her mind. "Pull over Jones!" said Veronica, and Jughead stopped at the side of the road.

Veronica got out of Jughead's car and ran to the blonde who seemed to care less about her surroundings. Veronica didn't know this version of her.

"Veronica, what is it?" Jughead shouted, but Veronica just ran after her.

Jughead didn't know what happened to Veronica, but she ran. Ran after someone. So, Jughead ran after Veronica.

Once Veronica stopped dead in her tracks towards a blonde girl which he knew so well, he stopped and ran to her side.

"Betty? Betty!"

Betty heard from behind her, and stopped. She saw that beanie. The same one that had been haunting her. Every night for the past year.

"Juggie?"

Darkness.
