They said their last goodbyes in that diner before heading home. Smiles were on their faces as they walked hand in hand.
"Now that everything's officially over..." Jughead started.
"I was wondering if we could be..." She cut him off with a kiss.
He took it as a yes.
"Of course. You don't have to ask me," she said and kissed him again.
It was a happy ending. Though happy endings never lasted, Jughead believed that this one would be forever.
