Hallow stands in disbelief.
The smile of a criminal stands before him. The elves cheer as Luka raises his hand in the air. The boy had gotten away.
Prince Luka is almost criminal for killing an innocent.
Hallow dislikes it all. He never wanted to hurt anyone innocent. His heart seemed to ache as a pale body in the distance rots under the beating sun.
The sun hadn't shined in a while after that day. The clouds brewed over them as they stayed idle within the village.
Hallow sits silently within a grass hut. Luka enters with a angered features.
"These wildling's are so lowly on hygiene. You can smell them a mile away." Luka found amusement while Hallow felt threatened.
"You do not like other species, do you?" Hallow questioned cautiously. Luka felt his face turn with pride.
"Of course not. Elves have royal blood, why should we even speak to low lives like that." Luka has placed himself within a wooden chair, waving his hand around like he owns the place.
Hallow nodded his head, only listening to him due to his place upon the social ladder.
"Including people like your squire and the fire starter." Luka added.
"Lyra." Hallow speaks but holds his mouth, accidentally correcting him.
"Don't correct me. I will call her whatever the fuck I want." Luka got up. He pushed back his hair in irritation and exhaled briefly.
"Leave." Luka orders. Hallow follows.Hallow stands outside now, a cold breeze almost musical within the quiet village. The elves that accompanied the prince and knight were out hunting for the fire starter and witch.
Hallow sighed as he remembered Lyra's terrified features the day she left EverGlade.Lyra had a soft spot in his heart.
He lifted his head at the thought, stubborn for thinking about her. She betrayed the kingdom, he reminded himself.
The wildling's were still chained up around their homes, sobbing silently towards one another, the women especially.
This is wrong, he knew. These innocent people never deserved to be put through this. Luka knows his plan after achieving the witches.
"Kill them all." Hallow whispered to himself, straightening his back.
Hallow had found himself glancing towards a strange collapse of an archer elf, one of the only elves that stayed behind.
"Hello?" Hallow unsheathed his sword from its holster and stands with his attention towards the fallen guard, unable to see their body.
Hallow cautiously walks towards the wall, walking up its steps and revealing an archer's neck snapped with no bow or arrows by their side.
Hallow calls for Prince Luka."An elf was attacked!" Hallow yelled. Luka came out of the hut, his hair disheveled with stress.
"Check the wildling's. One of them must have escaped." Luka ordered Hallow.Little did they know, a black head of hair is nesting within the trees, watching their every move, finally having a bow within his hands.
Orion aims towards Hallow's head as he looks around hopelessly for someone, something.
Whenever Luka stepped out of the hut, Orion lowered his bow.
Orion smiled at his new elven bow, ready to defend himself at all costs during his journey.
He stepped down from the tree, glancing back before hearing movement nearby.
Orion jumps back within the tree, away from being seen by anyone or anything.
Men with cloaks walk over towards the tree he rests in, Orion immediately jumps to another tree, and many others, to get away.
