Eddie packed the last of his bags, throwing the heavy bags into the back of his mom's car. Richie was with him, tears threatening to spill from his brown eyes. His Eddie was leaving him. His best friend, the one he needed by his side.

Eddie stayed silent, scared that if he spoke his tears would fall. They packed the car up until there were no more boxes. Richie sighed, a tear escaping and sliding down his cheek.

The two boys shared a tight hug, Eddie having to pull away as his mother called for him to get in the car. A song was playing on the radio Richie took with him to help Eddie pack.

The run and go.

As Eddie's car drove away, six simple words played on the radio.

"Tonight, I need you to stay."

And that's the end of this book.
