(11 year later)

"Get up! I have school and I'm already late, my friends are gonna kill me!" Stanley, now fourteen, screamed into his parent bedroom as they slept, completely forgetting it's Stans first day of high school today.

"Fucking hell Eddie, get up, we've already fucked it up" Richie whispered to his sleeping husband, who still didn't move even after all the screaming from their son.
"Bike to school Stan, your dads completely passed out" Richie laughed, and Stan stomped away from the door, muttering something under his breath. He really did take after Eddie.

Richie quickly got dressed into a shirt and some dark blue jeans and went to wave Stanley off to school. Stan had grown up a lot all of a sudden, and he was almost as tall as Eddie (which really annoyed Eddie, but he didn't let Richie know that) and his voice was beginning to drop.

Richie struggled to see his son grow into a man, as he didn't want him to leave. Stanley's humour was as dirty and childish as Richie's had always been, so their conversations were something that both of them cherished.
A lot of Richies features had started to become prominent in Stan too. His crazy, messy, curly hair mimicking Richies, his height and his style of clothes.

Stan had stolen most of Richies Hawaiian shirts, and didn't care to make it subtle. He wore them almost everyday, and he looked exactly like Richie did twenty-four years ago.

"Hey Stan, don't forget your-"
"Lunch. I got it dad. I'm not that forgetful"
"Well, on a good day." Richie said, making him roll his eyes. The famous Kaspbrak eye roll.

Stan went to give Richie a hug, as he did every morning, but held on longer this time, his head against his dads chest. The gesture brought tears to Richies eyes, glad that he had such a strong bond with his one and only son.
"I don't wanna grow up, dad. I don't want to be lanky and old, and I don't want to lose my eyesight like you did." Stan smirked, but Richie just laughed.
"I don't want you to grow up either bud, but you'll be a great, lanky old man when you are one. Don't worry about it too much. Me and your dad will be here for you for a long, long time. After all, we're only eighteen"
"Thirty eight, dad. You're an old man now"
"Yeah, yeah. I know I'm old, but I still look young. Now, you've got a school to get to."

Richie quickly hugged Stanley one last time before he turned around and left the house. His friend, Will, stood outside with a bike in his hand. The two of them bikes off together, and Eddie finally woke up and made his way downstairs.

Eddies arms fit around Richie's waist, and Richie put his head on top of Eddies. A single tear slipped his eye and fell into Eddies hair, and Eddie cuddled his husband tighter.

"He's growing up too fast"
