jeongguk and eunjae were a mess at school, shy on such a drastic level, they could barely pay attention to anything. but jeongguk waited for her before practice, jeongguk sat with her during lunch, jeongguk waited for her to change after practice, and jeongguk made her presence felt, the way he always should have.

they sat on the bleachers after hours, jeongguk knew that sunsets were always a great view from the school bleachers. the way the sun kissed the mowed lawn, making the grass glisten.

absolute tranquility.

"i was going through my uber contacts yesterday," eunjae explains, jeongguk nodded. "and i came across the profile of a past uber pool partner, and it happened to be jeon jeongguk." she giggled, pretending not to know it was him. "i wonder if i know any jeon jeongguks." she scratches her hair while making a dumb face, emitting a long string of laughter from the boy in front of her.

"i'm happy i came across that. it made me smile." she confesses, melting jeongguk's heart.

"i think you're falling for me." he says arrogantly, eunjae scoffing loudly. "as if." she snorts. she snorted. jeongguk couldn't wrap his mind around how adorably perfect her snort was. "i think its you that's falling in love." she flips her hair.

"thats something i cant deny."
