they pushed me aside like i was nothing; like i was no one to her. maybe i was no one. maybe jin lee thought nothing of me, maybe i was just another guy to her. just a random guy.
a nobody.
they broke the lock on her door and swarmed in, like ants on a dead body.
i shuddered. what had happened to her?
paramedics examined her as she lay in her bed.
they drew the curtains on her window, so i couldn't see what was going on inside.
but i had one thought on my mind.
please, jin lee, please don't be dead.
