"i'm sure he will go back home."
"he's been gone for a week. where do you think he is? i've tried calling him again and again."
"everything will be alright, namjoon. it always is. and it always will be."
"do you not miss your sister?"
the room felt silent. apart from dai making his small noises. i looked into namjoon's eyes.
"of course. but it is my fault she isn't here anymore. there's nothing i can do now."
there was a knock at the door; gentle but unfamiliar.
namjoon got up to walk towards the door.
another knock, this time louder.
more footsteps approached the door.
another knock.
namjoon froze.
