Chapter 13

"Peter's gonna be our dad? But... Then that means you have to act like an adult too?!" The boys pouted and looked at Peter. "You can't! You can't grow up, so you can't be a dad!"

You silently nodded your head in agreement with the boys, feeling awkward having Peter say that the two of you would basically be like a fake married couple. However, Peter protested.

"C'mon now. I already explained that Y/N can be your mom even though he isn't an adult, so I don't have to act like an adult either to be a dad. I can be a fun dad! Besides, it would be fun to have both parents." He glanced at you as he said that, making you feel even more awkward.

The lost Boys seemed to think about it and eventually came to accept the idea, nodded at each other in approval. Fucking hell...

Peter laughed and walked over to you, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you to his side as he looked at the boys. "Great! So from this point on, I'll be the dad, and Y/N is the mom! It can be like playing parents!" The boys cheered and giggled at the new 'game'.  A weird game that you weren't exactly prepared for.

You were kind of fine with the idea of being a sort of parent figure for all of the boys, Peter included. You just didn't think that Peter would offer to take the roll of the father. You wanted to object, but figured it would sound rude. Besides, he called it 'playing parents'. It's a game. A game doesn't mean anything. Right?...

You didn't realise it at first, but decided you needed a distraction to clear your mind as you heard your stomach growl. You hadn't had anything to eat since you got to Neverland. You grabbed Peter's shirt and tugged at it like a child, his arm still around your waist.

"Hm?" Peter tilted his head at you. "Peter, I'm hungry. I haven't had anything to eat in a while... What is there to eat?"

"We don't have anything. We always hunt for our food when we get hungry." That's something your definitely going to have to change as the new mother. No way you can deal without snacks around the house at all times.

"Well, I'm really hungry. Can we like.. Hunt? Or whatever... I don't know what you guys hunt for around here." Peter nodded and looked at the Lost Boys.

"Alright! Your new mom is hungry, so we need to go find some food! Get ready to go on a hunt!" He commanded the boys as they quickly got ready. Peter looked at you and smiled.

"Since we're getting the food, your gonna have to cook. You are the mom after all. That's what mom's do, right?" You were slightly offended by this despite not actually being a girl. You might as well be though. Your mom never cooked for you. Infact, you were the one cooking meals for her, so you decided it wouldn't be so bad cooking for them. You nodded and Peter smiled.

"Great! We'll be back latter. For now, you should go ahead and set up a fire so you can cook when we get back." The Lost Boys walked in, weapons in hand and ready to go. "We'll be off! See ya~" The boys left the house and Peter turned and kissed your cheek before going out as well.

"What the actual fuck?..." You stared blankly as they all left you standing in the empty hole they call home.
