When he's sure that Jimin had left the house, Hoseok makes his way straight into the kitchen. His heart is beating wildly, his hands are shaking again, and he can barely get oxygen into his lungs.
He searches the counter drawers frantically until he finds one of the sharper cooking knives Jimin keeps, and sighs in relief when he looks at it. He examines the edge of it, the glint of light reflecting from the sun shining outside. He aches to know how it would feel to sink it into his skin.
"Hoseok..." A voice says, disappointment in their voice. Hoseok spins around and sees Jimin standing not far behind him with a bag of food. "I already had the food. I wanted to know what you do when I'm not home. Please... put that down." Jimin says, semi-desperately. Hoseok shakes his head furiously.
"I need it," he says, choking on air as his body shakes violently. His hands are coated in so much sweat that the knife clatters to the floor. The room is spinning so fast, and his body feels as if it's swaying.
He loses his balance and tumbles directly into Jimin's arms. Angry, he begins to shout at his boyfriend.
"Just go away! I don't need your pity! I shouldn't have to explain myself when you don't tell me shit!" Hoseok yells, straining his voice. He struggles to get up, but Jimin is holding onto him too tight.
His eyes close as he sobs desperately, wishing he could get even an ounce of relief from this horrible type of withdrawal.
