-Jimin's flashback-
He stands in front of the mirror, shaking a little. His shirt is off, he never put it back on after what just happened.
His eyes look over the bruises that dot his chest and his neck and his arms and his sides. The little cuts here and there that have only recently healed and the little cuts here and there that haven't healed yet.
His hair is a wild mess, and he won't bother to wash it until he's come to his senses again.
He curses all the stories who speak of superheroes that appear when the weak are suffering. If there are superheroes somewhere, they're probably half-assing their job. He'd like so much to have a savior that could protect him from his personal villain, but apparently that's not realistic.
How come people in romance novels always get happy endings?
He didn't even realize he was crying until his face started to look as if he'd been submerged in water.
Running away would be nice. Very nice.
But there's always the fear of his villain running faster.
