His eyes linger on the purple marks that ring his neck like Yoongi's hands did just minutes ago. The bite marks and bruises all over and the mark on his eye that won't go away.
Pain, pain, pain. Yoongi knows his weaknesses and uses them against him.
Jimin knocks on the bathroom door and Hoseok shuts his eyes and wills himself to look happy as he pulls his shirt back on.
"Hoseok?"
"Yeah?" Hoseok says, frantically trying to figure out a way to cover the marks on his neck. A scarf is lying on the counter next to the sink, and he wraps it around his neck just as Jimin opens the door. Hoseok smiles at his boyfriend.
"You ready to go?" Jimin asks, and Hoseok tilts his head to the side a bit.
"Go where?"
"To Jin and Namjoon's house. They invited us for dinner."
"Oh. Right." Hoseok says, and switches off the light in the bathroom, then exits the room. Jimin follows closely behind him, observing the scarf.
"Where'd you get that scarf?" Jimin asks, confused. He knew Hoseok didn't own any scarves, and he didn't keep any in the bathroom.
"Oh, this?" Hoseok asks, gesturing to the blanket. "I borrowed it from Yoongi the other day. It was cold so I asked for a scarf." He lies again. He had it wrapped around his leg earlier to bandage a small cut that Yoongi made in his skin.
"Oh." Jimin says, unsure if he believes his boyfriend.
What is going on with him? Jimin wonders, but shrugs it off as they head to Seokjin's house.
