anyways, in this final "installment" of the book, I'm gonna explain the story to fill any plotholes there might have been, give some acknowledgements, and advertise my new book because I have no shame.

so.
let's do this.

as you read, the story starts with a few messages between Hobi and Jimin. Jimin is very closed-off and unwilling to answer due to his trust issues after what happened with Jungkook, which happened not long before he met Hoseok.

Hoseok took interest in Jimin after seeing a few posts of his on social media, and just decided to message him to become friends, as was feeling very lonely due to how he was being treated by Yoongi. he had to pretend that he and Yoongi were friends despite the blackmail that was going on.

eventually, he makes a groupchat but doesn't invite Yoongi or Taehyung. he doesn't have anything against Taehyung, he just doesn't know him very well. he can't say no when Jin asks to add them, so he just allows it. (also, the camera that Jimin used to take pictures with was a gift from Jungkook in an attempt to get him to stay in the relationship)

so basically, Hoseok's already existing depression was worsening due to how Yoongi was treating him, and he resorted to self-harm because that was the only way he knew how to cope. the memories from his past didn't help much either.

he ends up in the hospital and is too afraid to tell Jimin about what's going on, so he only tells him half the truth. after this, he ends up moving in with Jimin and they make their relationship official. I know it seems as if Jimin changed really fast, but his personality has always been sweet and loving, he just had his guard up after what happened with Jungkook.

basically, ever since Yoongi saw Jimin at the hospital that day, he took an interest in him, and didn't want Hoseok to be happy with somebody. he started to flirt with Taehyung, but it was never going to go anywhere. at the party, he wanted to hurt Hoseok, so he was doing things to purposely make Jimin uncomfortable, going so far as to hold him while they slept. Hoseok got very upset of course.

so Taehyung noticed all this going on, but didn't say anything about it at first because he was hurting from Yoongi's betrayal.

Yoongi then starts to blackmail Hoseok even more, and Jimin eventually finds out about it, and everything goes downhill, as you saw.

I hope that was a good enough explanation. (I'm not feeling well and I don't really want to write today)
