TWENTY- SEVEN | Lavanjah

PANIC SEIZED LAVANJAH as he stared at the empty SUV. The windows were smash and the doors were left open ajar as Max bend into vehicle to find Catherine's engagement ring between shards of broken glass. Anger shake Max's body as he held the ring within his hands, he brace himself towards the vehicle as he held onto the top of the SUV.

              "Where could he have taken them?" he asked.

"The gym caught fire last year, so there's no building around until another miles." Mr. Durance notify them as he click the shotgun in his hand. "Papa be careful," Stephanie warned as a black Honda came to halt beside Max's SUV. Everyone snap their gaze towards the vehicle as Lamar climb out of the vehicle, with Clinton and two other guys.

"Did you call back up?" Max asked.

        "No," he answered, as Lamar storm over with a gun in his hand.

"Woo ah, we're after my fiance not some terrorist," Max blurted out as he notice the guys with a huge guns. Clinton walked towards us. "Are you deaf dude?" Mr. Durance asked stepping towards Clinton.

"Sorry Sir they only listen to a blade, Grandpa rules." Lamar notify him as Lamar nodded to the guys and Clinton nodded to the two guys. Who return the big guns to the trunk of the black Honda.

"How did you find us?" Max asked as one of the guy walked towards him, slipping on a bullet vest onto him. "Lavanjah meet Wayne, your personal bodyguard." the guy nodded to him and Kenny My Personal bodyguard, he pointed to the guy standing a few feet behind him.

"Seriously," Lavanjah stare at his brother.

"There's an old hotel building along these wood, I'm sure that's where Aaron got the women." Clinton sounded from examining the vehicle. Max stare at him questioningly.

"Mr. Blade own a few companies around the area." He shrugged his shoulders as he reach for his gun situated behind his back. "I'm not even going to ask how you know the name of the kidnapper, but I should let you-"

"That Kat got bipolar issues. It's a thing these Blade men like Crazy" he muttered, as he slick his gun.

 "I did my reading Sir, Are we going to stand here and debate about who got better information or go get your woman." Clinton snap as he glare at Max with a sour expression.

"He and vidya has a thing back at the lounge."Lamar whispered to his brother.

"Let's go," Max stated as he Clinton went ahead leading the way.

"Spare me the deets Lamar," Lavanjah gritted at his brother as Wayne situated himself beside him.

"Now your sounding like him. Let's go get your woman before you go full psycho." Lamar stated as they follow a dirt path into the semi forest. The atmosphere was gloomy and dark as the night air settle around them.  Twigs and gavel could be heard as they all hurdle together eyeing their surroundings.

 "How far before we reach?" Mr. Durance asked as we came out into the clearing to an huge building. The walls were cracked and stumbling to the ground as roots embedded them upon the stale rocks and in between open cracks giving the building an ancient building which hasn't seen the light of days for years now.

"Max," Stephanie called out pointing towards the open cracked door, Clinton along with Wayne and Kenny storm ahead.

"I am the law here," Max gritted as they rush in the direction they went. A loud scream sound in the hallway. "Catherine!" Max blurted out as  the rest of follow behind. Wayne and Kelly barricade us until Clinton motion that they could. This is going to be annoying.  He thought as they rush unto a staircase like to realized that they were inside a pool room.

      We glance down to see a body floating in the pool as Catherine struggle to come afloat .

              JUST AS KATHERINE fired a gun shot into Aaron's chest, then another into his head Mr. Durance send another couple into him. Lavanjah rushed in catching Katherine before she hits her head against the titled ground. The white dress she had on was stile with blood, her hair was pulled into a bun, something he wasn't used to. 

     "Lavanjah," She muttered as the gun slip from her hand and she stare up at him tears in her eyes and blood splattered on her cheeks.  "Catherine," she muttered as she flutter her eyes shut but she flutter them open again but they shut again

  Lavanjah watch as Max drive into the pool of dirty water to retrieved his fiance. Sirens filled the distance as he grab Kat's body slipping his hand under her body as he lifted her and carried her out of the room, With his brother and the body guard heavy on his heels. 

        "She's in and out unconscious," He blurted out as he place her on the gurney. 

"We'll take it from here." The Woman paramedic stated as they started on Katherine as Max walked out with Catherine limping. "I want to see her!" she snap pushing the paramedic away as Max help her over to the gurney that had Katherine. 

    Katherine stir as Catherine held her hand and that's when he realized that Kat had his mother necklace on her wrist. "You got the bastard," Catherine kiss her sister. 

"I know you could do it!" she weep with tears streaming down her cheeks, as Katherine herself started to crying too. "Sorry I shot you," she said, starring at her sister leg.

"As long as you didn't waste my bullet. I am okay with being shot." Catherine chuckled with tears in her eyes. 

           "We have to get her back to hospital madam," the paramedic stated.

"Where's Dad?"

"I'm right here sweetheart. " her father rushed towards him. 

"I finally learn to pulled the trigger Daddy," she smiled at me.

"I know sweetie, were going to get you better." he kiss his daughter and watch as they rolled her into the Ambulance as her gaze shift towards me and she touch the necklace.

    "Thanks," Catherine said causing me to shift my gaze back to her.

"That Necklace save us in there." she said.

"Your welcome." he pulled her into a hug. 

    "Alright babe, let's get you to the hospital to get that bullet out," Max lifted her up and place her on the gurney that was push towards us. "I'll ride with her," Her father offered.

     "I'll catch up, since I have to say back to give a report." he kiss Catherine.

"There's a leather bound book on the desk can you keep it for me." Catherine asked starring up at her fiance. "Why?" her father asked.

"Please," she look up at Max, ignoring her father.

"Alright I'll see what I can do," he kiss her forehead and watch as they push her to the ambulance. 

"I'm going to head out to the hospital," he told Max.

          "Alright. Thanks for the help." he look to Clinton who shook his hand firmly before retreating to the black Honda as the area started to filled with spectators and nosy neighbors.
