Michael
"Calum he's not texting back what do I do?" I groan.
"You just texted him 5 minutes ago." Calum says, raising an eyebrow.
"But I don't know if he's okay." I say, sighing and laying down on the couch.
"He's probably fine. Have another slice of pizza." Calum says, throwing the half empty pizza box at me.
"How can you eat at a time like this?" I say. I pick up my phone and check it for the 100th time to make sure Luke didn't text back yet.
"Just stop thinking about it. He'll text back eventually." Calum says with an annoyed tone in his voice.
"Wait, I think I just saw his car pull in next door." I say, walking over to the window.
"Okay, then wait like a half hour and if he still doesn't text back go check on him." Calum says, obviously uninterested in this crisis.
"Fine." I say, grabbing another piece of pizza and eating it to pass the time.
"I feel like I'm dealing with a teenage girl." Calum says, sitting on the other couch.
"Oh shut up. You are a teenage girl." I say, throwing a piece of my pizza at Calum.
A half hour and 3 slices of pizza later, Luke still hasn't texted back.
"Okay I'm going to go see if Luke's okay." I say, getting up.
"Weren't you the one who was 'avoiding' him?" Calum says, raising his eyebrows. I sigh.
"Yes, but this is different. He could be hurt or something." I say, in a mumble. Calum shakes his head.
"Have fun at Luke's." Calum says. I walk out, closing the door behind me and walk over to Luke's house. It wasn't a very long walk, considering Luke lives right next door. I walk up to his door and take a deep breath before knocking.Luke
I pulled into the driveway after we got to the apartment. I got out of the car and went over the passenger side, helping Ashton out of the car despite his protests of 'I can help myself' and 'I'm not that hurt I think I can get myself out of a car'.
Ashton and I both walk inside and I shut the door behind me.
"You hungry? Thirsty? Tired?" I ask Ashton. He laughs.
"You sound like my mum. I'll be fine I'm just gonna watch some TV or something." Ashton says, sitting down on the couch and turning the TV on.
"Okay, fine. But if you need anything just ask." I say, sitting down next to him.
"What I need is better TV shows. Nothing good is on." Ashton says, frowning.
"Put on a movie or something." I say, not really caring what we watch.
"Okay, but I am not watching mean girls again. I am sick of watching that movie with you." Ashton says, glaring at me jokingly. I roll my eyes.
"You love that movie and I know it." I say, smirking.
"No, I really-" Ashton starts, but he's cut off by a knock at the door. I frown in confusion.
"Who's at the door?" I ask.
"How should I know? This is your house not mine." Ashton says, laughing.
I get up and walk over to the door and open it. My eyes widen as I see who it is.
"Michael?" I ask, confused as to why the colorful haired boy is standing at my door.
"Uh, hi I was just coming to check if you were okay. I mean you had to leave so quickly and you weren't texting back and...are you okay?" Michael says, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked at the ground. I couldn't help but grin a bit. He came to make sure I was okay?
"Yeah I'm okay. Sorry about that, my friend was in a car crash. Hes okay though. And I guess I forgot to text you back." I say, smiling slightly.
"Oh wow. Well I'm glad your friend's okay, and it's fine I just wanted to make sure you're okay. I guess I'll get going now." Michael said, playing with his jacket sleeve. He's fucking adorable. Dammit, I have to stop thinking these things.
"Wait. Me and my friend were just about to watch a movie. Do you want to stay?" I say, hopefully. My heart races whenever I talk to him and I don't know exactly why, but it scares me.
"Um, yeah I guess. I mean if you don't mind or anything." Michael says. I bite my lip to stop a huge grin from forming.
"Yeah I don't mind, come on." I say, motioning for him to follow me inside.Michael
I'm in his house. Goddammit Michael, this is not what I meant by avoiding him. I follow Luke to a room with a TV and two couches. There's a boy with curly hair and hazel eyes sitting on one of the couches. I guess he's the one that was in the car crash from the apparent bruises on his arm.
"Ashton this is Michael, Michael this is Ashton." Luke says, introducing us to eachother.
"Hi, Michael. How are you?" Ashton says. Quite perky for a boy that's just been in a car crash.
"M'good." I say, letting off a smile. I sit down on the other couch, and to my surprise Luke sits down right next to me.
"So what are we watching?" Ashton asks Luke. While they banter over what movie we're going to watch I text Calum.
'Hey I'm at Luke's he's okay his friend was in a car crash or something. I'm watching a movie with them now so I'll be back later'
I send the message and zone back into Luke and Ashton who are fighting about whether or not they should watch mean girls. I raise my eyebrows in amusement. I feel my phone buzz and I pick it up to see a text. It's from Calum.
'get some ;)'
I glare at my phone and text back.
'Fuck you calum.'
I send the text and put my phone down.
"Michael, do you like mean girls?" Luke asks.
"Yeah, it's a good movie." I say. I won't admit it but I love that movie. A lot.
"Then it's settled. We are watching mean girls whether you like it or not." Luke says towards Ashton. Ashton huffs in defeat and Luke smiles as he puts the movie in and presses play. He sits back down next to me and Ashton looks like he's excepted the fact that he has to watch mean girls.
About an hour into the movie Ashton says he's tired and leaves to go to sleep upstairs, leaving me and Luke alone. Somehow during the movie Luke ended up cuddled into my side with his head on my shoulder, but I don't mind at all. When the movie ends I look over to see Luke asleep on my shoulder. I smile. He's beautiful, he's nice, he has a great music taste, he can sing.. He's perfect.
I yawn and suddenly feel very tired. I lean my head onto Luke and let myself drift off to sleep.
So much for avoiding Luke now.
