A ki blast flew past me, only just missing me. Thoughts rushed my mind why was he doing this, out of know where he just started attacking. Something was different then I noticed his eyes, they were a pale orange; that was when I realised he was being controlled - he wasn't doing this out of his own will he was just a puppet to a greater evil. Anger consumed me all I wanted was for Vegeta to be himself again the only way I could get him back was stopping whoever or what ever was controlling him.
I needed help the situation made me feel completely helpless I didn't even know what was controlling him; I needed to get to Bulma. No matter how hard I tried to escape; he prevented me from leaving - he was out of control and completely zealous. The only way one of us could leave to complete our goal was killing the other but I couldn't do that; first of all he was so much stronger than me in his regular state but now he was filled with blood lust so if I fought him I would be doomed. Secondly, even if we were equally as powerful he would still win because I could never hurt him.
He neared me as I quivered in fear.
"Aw what's wrong are you afraid?"
All I could do was nod at a complete loss for words; I couldn't believe this was how I'm going to die and just because I'm weak this is how everyone else was going to go out, I was the last fighter to go against Vegeta even Goku lost to him. I felt my energy drain as Vegeta pierced my heart with his hand- in my dying moments I saw Vegeta's eyes fade from the pale blue to black; I could finally feel comfort that the world would be safe until I got back. All I heard before I died was Vegeta shouting my name and with my last strength I reassured him, "it wasn't your fault it was my fault I couldn't save us both."

Vegeta's POV:
"Aaaaavvvvoocccaaaa! What have I done?"
"It wasn't your fault it was my fault I couldn't save us both."
"You can't die Avoca; I need to find the dragon balls so she can be resurrected."
