Liz's POV
"We're here!" Miranda exclaimed. We reached a huge white mansion. I guess this is Jessica's new home. Her parents are really rich so of course they can afford this.
We all walk out the limo & went into the house. "Wow." I said. Ed was beside me with his one arm around my waist. Then I heard Damon calling his name. "Ed! Dude! C'mon! Enjoy the party!" He yelled. "Go. I'll be fine." I smiled. It's just a party, nothing can go wrong. Wrong again, Liz. People get drunk, make out & dance like there's no tomorrow. People could just go crazy & wasted just like that. I mentally slapped myself. This IS a party. So of course those things r normal.
Nina's POV
Man, this party is freaking like Katy Perry's Last Friday Night song. There r people dancing on table tops, people taking too many shots & now r wasted, people half naked & the list goes on & on. Then, I heard Jessica call out my name. "Ni-Ni!" Oh boy... "Hey Jess. By the way, no one calls me Ni-Ni anymore." I said trying to sound polite. "Fineee... So, r u enjoying the party?" She asked. I think she is a bit drunk.
"Yeah..." I nodded. "Good! Enjoy it till it lasts!" She shouted as she walk away. "I don't think I will." I said to myself. I walked myself to the dance floor & started dancing crazily. I seriously don't know why but YOLO. "Hey *hiccup* sexy lady! *hiccup*" A topless & wasted guy said to me. What the hell... "Hi?" I sounded like I was asking him. "Wanna *hiccup* drink?" He winked while handing a vodka to me.
Oh god... I'm definitely not drinking that. "No thanks." I said trying to sound politely as I can. Wait, that reminds me... This guy really ensemble Jessica. Who is he? "Oh c'mon *hiccup* Nina! Just one *hiccup* tiny sip." He knows my name. Aha! Now I remember! He's Hunter, Jessica's brother. I use to have a crush on him but when Kenneth came into my life, I gave up on Hunter. I shook my head. "Maybe next time, Hunter..." I said walking away. "Or maybe not."
Then, I saw Ed. "Ed!" I tried to yell his name but the music is too loud. The DJ is spinning Give Me Everything Tonight by Pitbull. Suddenly, I saw Jessica walking towards him. I walked a step forward to hear their conversations. For Liz.
"Hey Ed!"
"Umm... Hey Jess."
"R u enjoying the party?"
"Yeah... It's awesome." He faked a smile.
"Want a drink?"
"Sure. I'm kinda thirsty anyway."
"K. I'll be right back." She winked.
He faked a smile again. I decided to follow Jessica. I saw her going to the refreshments table. She poured some orange juice into 2 glasses. But then, she took something from her pocket. She smiled evilly. Oh no, that is NOT good. She's trying to drug Ed! She put the drug into one of the glasses. I knew which is which. "Jessica!" I heard someone calling her name. She walked a few steps to reached her friend. I quickly go to the table & switched the glasses. Then, I run towards the crowd & keep spying on her.
When she is done talking, she took the glasses & walk towards Ed. "Hey Ed! Sorry to keep u waiting. Here!" She handed him the non-drugged orange juice. Yes! I mentally high 5 with myself. "Thanks." They both cheered & drink the juices. Then, Ed walked away from Jessica. I heard her cursed a few words under her breath & angrily walked away. I quickly ran towards Ed. "Dude! Ed!" I shouted. Luckily this time he heard & look behind. "Nina." He said.
"Ed! Just now I saw u talking to Jess!"
"Ok... So basically, u r stalking me. And that was supposed to be Liz's job." I slapped his arm.
"Ow! Ok sorry! I guess u have a boyfriend already!" He said while putting his hands in the air. I nodded.
"So what the hell r u trying to say here?" He asked. "I saw Jess putting drugs into your drink." I said. "WHAT THE HELL?! Wait... I should be dizzy right now... How-" I stopped him. " I switched your drinks." I smiled. "Thanks Nina." He said. "Welcome."
