Chapter 29
Liz's POV
3 months after the incident...
After a few months resting my head, with my parents, friends & most of all my boyfriend's help, I've recovered fully. Today, I'm helping Ed babysitting a kid. I don't who is it but he said it's someone he met in the hospital. After I wear my outfit, I went downstairs.
"Hey honey. How r u?" My dad asked while reading his newspaper.
"Better than ever, dad!" I exclaimed. To be honest, I've never been this excited after the incident.
"That's awesome, dear. Well, u should eat breakfast before u help Ed to babysit kids. Babysitting kids r frustrating." My mom said as she put a plate of pancake in front of me.
"So... R u trying to say u taking care of me is frustrating?" I asked her. My dad chuckled. My mom rolled her eyes, dodging the question."
After I finish my pancake, I heard honking. Ed's here!
"I'm going now! Bye mom, dad!" I said as I give them a kiss on the cheek.
I ran to Ed's car. Man, this is going to be a blast.
"Hey Liz. Never thought I'll see u this happy." He said, looking surprised.
"Hey Ed. Yeah, I don't know why I'm this happy." I smiled & give him a kiss.
"Let's go to this kid's house!" I said excitedly.
"Her name is Wendy."
"Oh. Ok. Let's try that again. *clear throat* Let's go to Wendy's house!"
"Man, r u okay Liz? U look like u just went out a crazy asylum." Ed snorted. I slapped his hand playfully.
"Just go." I said, trying to sound serious. But failed.

20 minutes later...
"We're here!" Ed exclaimed. I look out the window.
One word... Wow. The mansion is even bigger than Jessica's. Man, saying her name gives a shiver down my spine.
For 2 months, Jake & Jessica have been dodging us. We didn't see them around that much. Sometimes I think they both matched.
Ed opened the passenger's door. Talk about being a gentleman. "My lady." He said, faking a British accent. "Why thank u young man." I faked a British accent too. We both laughed. We knocked the door. A boy about 18 years old opened the door. Wait, a shirtless boy with only 4 packs opened the door. The boy reminds me of Kenneth, Nina's boyfriend.
"Ed! Thanks for coming man, I need to go run some errands for about 3 hours. I'll be back like 2 o'clock. Okay?" The boy explained. Ed nodded.
"It's okay,Rex. By the way, I brought my girlfriend to help. Is that okay?"
"No. There's no prob. Besides, girls will be moms one day, so they r better with children." The Rex guy said as he looked at his watch.
"Ok. I need to go now. Thanks again, man!" They did some kind of handshake that girls will never understand.
Then, Rex went into one of the Lamborghini. I seriously wanna ask him, 'Dude, your half-naked!'. But then, I saw him wearing a shirt inside his car. Spoke too soon. Ed took my hand & lead me inside the house.
"Ready?" He said. I nodded.
"Code name: babysitting." I said. He laughed.
"Mission Impossible is going to be possible." He said.
I can't agree more.
