Riley's PoV

"Why drag another girl into camp? It's not like we need to take care of more people." The girl with the rainbow hair said with a slight frown.

"Again?" One of the guys sighed. His long black hair covered his left eye and his navy sweatshirt and black jeans blended into the dark. Connected to a belt loop was a gold chain that glinted in the firelight. "Ethan, we have an agreement with Chiron. You aren't supposed to lure campers here."

"We're allowed to take campers that want to go. She agreed to come. After some persuasion." He said the last part quietly and I stifled a laugh.

"Persuasion?" A girl raised an eyebrow. She seemed to have straight black hair, but when I looked again, her hair actually transitioned to a dark blue.

He grinned. "Girls just can't seem to say no."

"No." Both the girls who had spoken before responded quickly.

"And don't try that charm on me, Moore, or you'll find that you'll be wearing pink instead of black."

"Sexy." He responded with a wink at the girl.

She rolled her eyes. "Really..." She muttered. Then her expression turned into a smirk. She raised her hands and all of a sudden, Ethan's shirt was pink with a rainbow "I'm a flirt" on it. "I dare you to wear that out."

"If you'll take me out then I'll gladly wear this outside of camp." His smile didn't waver as he continued flirting with the girl.

"Are you sure it's smart to flirt with me when you just brought her to camp?"

He looked over at me and stopped smiling. "I'm sorry blue bunny, where are my manners? Have a seat, let us treat you like the princess you are. My apologies for not paying you the attention you deserve."

"Wow..." He offered me his hand and I took it but shook my head. "You are such a big flirt."

He smiled and led me to the campfire where the people were sitting on logs set around it. He motioned to one with the dark rainbow haired girl and we both sat there, him in between the two of us.

"I'm Lily. Lily Andrews. The girl over there," She said, indicating the teen with the blue tips, "is Mei-Xing Yukimura. The one with his hair covering his eye is Ryo Hayashi. You've already met this flirt. That boy over there is Mei-Xing's boyfriend, Bong-Ju Kim." The black-haired boy sat next to Mei-Xing, his hand clasped with hers.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Riley." I looked at all of them, trying to match their names to their faces so I wouldn't forget them later on.

"So what made you come here?" asked Bong-Ju.

I looked at Ethan and shrugged. "He kind of just convinced me to come here. I was only at the other camp for a few days so I can't really say how much I... actually I don't even know."

"So you stole a new camper?" Ryo shook his head and sighed. "Really. There needs to be rules."

"You think he would listen?" Asked Lily, slapping the arm he tried to put around her.

"Not really."

"I'm right here you know." He scowled and rubbed his arm where he was hit.

"It's better than talking behind your back." The sass that came from Ryo surprised me.

I couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Lily joined in and the camp was smiling. Once we stopped, the long-haired boy looked at me and said, "I assume you have no intentions of going back?"

"Well, I don't know, I don't have much to do at either place but if there's no reason to leave then I don't see why I should go."

He thought for a moment. "Well, you can at least stay for tonight. It's pretty late, although if he was willing, I'm sure that Ethan could shadowtravel you back."
