Nyx's POV

I secretly made my way to the door, making sure that my brother,  Changbin,  won't wake up.

Slowly, I grabbed my jacket and put on my shoes as I made my way out, opening the door as the cold and thick air welcomed me as I slowly and silently closed the door behind me.

Making my way to the park that me and my boyfriend, Jeongin always go to.

As I spotted a male figure with a black hoodie by the swings, I sprinted my way knowing that it was Jeongin since it was literally 2 am this time and we would always sneak out early so the others wont bother us and so my brother, wont argue.

He wasnt really into the fact that me and Jeongin were in a relationship. I mean he didnt say that he was against it either. He just, I dont know, doesnt want a lot of skinship?

But I mean who could resist not hugging this little bean right here?

I hug him startling him a bit as he jumped slightly making me giggle. "Hey" I say slowly catching my breath.

He faced me and smiled, shoeing off those cute little braces that I love so much.

"Did he wake up?" he asks hugging me by the waist. I shook my head a no in response.

"I mean if he did wake up he shouldve had been screaming at me and I shouldnt had arrived here right now." I say.

"I mean I could leave if you want to, if thats what you mean." I joke around as he played along.

"Yeah, I didnt want you here anyways." he jokingly pushed me away from him breaking the hug as I pout at him and waited for him to take it back but he didnt so I played along.

I turn my face away from him as ai skipped my way, opposite from where he was.

"Im kidding! Dont leave me! Its so dark!" he says catching up yo me and hugging me by my waist as I stopped and smirked.

"Im going home Jeongin, we need to tell Oppa about this." I joke around but am secretly wanting to find out what his answer was going to be.

He was silent for a minute which felt like forever then I face him. "Should we?" he blurted out as it caught me off guard.

"Do you not plan to?" I ask, a bit disappointed about his reaction.

He scratches the back of his neck. "I dont mean it that way, Nyx, you know how much I want to tell everyone that youre mime but I think this really isnt the time. Im still proving myself to Changbin hyung to get him to let me court you even." he held both of my hands as I realized this became a serious session instead of a 'together-time'. I sigh heavily and gsve him anpeck on the cheek, wanting the mood to light up, which did in just 3 seconds. Same time as how his face suddenly turns bright red and I placed my hands on his cheeks, cupping them lightly.

"I felt cold." I reason out as he chuckled and hugged me, lifting me a bit from the ground. And as usual, we laugh and eat by the 24/7 store we always go to, and just made random jokes and puns about things we saw.

And like always, time flew so fast that it was about 4 am now, he still needs to sleep until 9 cause they have practice later. I sigh as he nudged me and smiled.

"You know, before you go home there's a little something you should do." he says as I got a little confused on what he meant.

He stood infront of me and looked at me with a smile.

Uhm...?

I spread my arms wide and gave him a bear hug then let go to see him pout and whine a bit, making me giggle.

I think for a moment then suddenly pecked his cheek lightly. He smiled fot a bit then went back to pouting.

I pecked the other cheek but failed since he moved away. He kept on moving his lower lip up and down as I know the message already. I try not to fangirl and let my heart jump out of my chest as I leaned closer to him and he stares into my eyes. I moved more until our lips were mere few inches apart until I leaned up to kiss his nose.

His eyes were closed and suddenly whines as I laugh at the guy.

He suddenly stopped whining and grabbed my arms and leaned close to me as our faces were inches away and he placed one of his hand by my cheek, lightly caressing it. I squinted my eyes closed.

I thought he was gonna do a payback until I opened my eyes only to see him staring at me seriously. I stare back, drowning into those eyes of his.

"Promise me something..." he says amd I nodded lightly for him to continue.

"I may be doing a bad process in impressing Changbin hyung right now, but Ill promise never to give up until he says yes. So until then, I want you to promise me, to take care of yourself. Always think positive okay? And most importantly, wait for me." He says as he pecks my forehead as I felt the cold air rushed though my lips making me shiver.

"I promise..." I breath as he waved a goodbye and I went straight to the house, again trying to sneak my way to my room.

I cover up onto my blankets and thought about what Jeongin said.

Why doesnt he like him...?

And with that, I found myself asleep.

The next day

I woke up only having a pair of piercing eyes giving me the chills.

"Oppa! You scared me!" I said and punched him lightly as he had no reaction which made me stop. I sat up and fixed my hair, brushing it between my hands.

"I saw you and Jeongin last night." he says, straightforwardly.

I felt a cold sweat run through my spine by my back as I gulped harshly, making it a bit too obvious.

As I was about to speak out a made up reason, he butted in.

"Look, I heard what he said to you last night and Im sorry about it." he says making me the most confused person in the world.

"I was the one keeping the both of you from being free and inlove. Im sorry, I just really couldnt help it. The fact that you and Jeongin are going out really didnt cross my mind and startled me but now I understand. You both are inlove thats why." He says as he held my hand making me teary eyed.

"But remember this. I am not fond of you giving him second chances at all. One time he makes a mistake and thats gonna be the last on he'll hurt you or even see you, got it?" He assures as I felt tears of joy flow down my cheeks snd I quickly do my daily routine and changed my clothes as I saw Changbin with a brotherly smile by the door, holding my jacket.

I ran to hug him and he hugged back.

"Thank you." I say as he pecked my forehead. "Remember what Ive said okay?" he reminds as I nodded and put on my jacket and ran through the whole street to the bus stop and took a bus.

As I arrived by Jeongin's dorm, that he shares with Chan and Hyunjin, I texted him to come down cause I was there. It took him a while since it was early and he just slept but as he left the door I already squealed and jumped over him as he grabbed my waist and chuckled.

"You seems happy..." he says as he rubbed his left eye and yawned lightly. I cupped his cheeks and kissed him all over his face.

"He agreed." I say and his eyes widen.

"Youre kidding." he says as he runs his fingers through his hair then later on he screams a 'yes'! I giggle at his reaction as he carried me and spun me around.

After a while, we became more comfortable to the fact that we don't need to hide anything from anyone.
