There was still the problem of the weekend. And did he feel it.
After waking up on the roof to the sight of her drifting off, his heart throbbed at the sight and even more so after feeling what could only be her hand in his hair. It was more than dark out now and it really was a shame, he wanted to stay on her lap for a while. But it was cold. She was clearly shivering and uncomfortable - she was roughly propped up against a grainy wall and hard paving.
Refraining from sighing, he sat up and turned back to look at her - checking if she woke or not. She didn't, perhaps too exhausted to open her eyes. Pushing back the smile threatening to rise on his face, he carefully hooked an arm under her knees and supported her back as he effortlessly picked her up.
She was weightless in his arms, thin and fragile. So so cute.
He brought her down and let her take up one of the sofas in the reception room as he began to think of what he should do. She he take her home? He didn't know where she lived though. Should he let her stay at his? It's a little forward and strange - he wouldn't mind it but she probably would. Only other option was to wait here until she woke up. If she doesn't... he'll just sleep here - it wouldn't be the first time.
He occupied himself with doing a little paperwork, but soon the tiny and adorable snores and breaths from the girl became too big of a distraction. Standing up and shrugging off his gakuran jacket, he approached the sleeping girl. Laying the makeshift blanket over her, he looked at her for a second - thinking.
Then again, since when does he think about whether he should do something or not.
Picking up her head from the arm of the sofa, enjoying the pleasant feeling of her soft hair between his fingertips, he slumped himself down and placed her head onto his legs. He'll just call it paying her back.
It was shocking how easily he fell asleep. Perhaps it was the warmth her body radiated but it was far from a negative feeling. He always thought love and such, dating and relationships, were for the weak; that he didn't need such a thing, there was no one out there he was interested in anyway. But now it was as if he attained something. For her, he felt as though he could do anything.
She was like the word discipline. Yes, that worked nicely. For that word, his pride, he could go to great lengths to protect it, like he felt he could for her. Still, he doesn't know her name yet.
Morning came before he knew it. Unfortunately he didn't wake before she did. Possible about a minute after she'd woken up actually.
"W-Wha-!?" Was the sound that woke him up. Of course she'd be confused, last she remembered was probably being on the roof. Not to mention she wasn't in her bed.
He opened an eye groggily, still feeling the effects of sleep and he wasn't shocked awake like she was. Maybe he looked grouchy in the morning, his hair was probably a mess too - although she wasn't any better.
"Hi-Hibari...-san!?"
His legs hurt. The girl had sat up almost immediately after understanding the situation - leaving his legs cold and numb. He groaned in reply, a part of him just wanting to bundle her up in his arms and drop down asleep. What was the time anyway? Technically it was the weekend...
That part of him won over. Taking a quick glance at her, who seemed to be waiting for some kind of explanation while she absentmindedly bundled up Hibari's jacket into her arms; Hibari snagged her waist in a quick and fluid movement, not giving her time to gasp as he dragged her back. Just in case, he made sure she was pinned to the back of the sofa as well as securely wrapped in his arms.
It may just be his sleepy haze however, as he'd probably never do such a thing normally - especially with someone he'd just met not even a week ago. He was tired, she was warm and soft... Oh and that nervous look she gave him.
