A few soft knocks on the door woke Hibari up, the staff had possibly arrived with breakfast and a change of clothes. He wasn't aware fully of what the time was but it had to have been around 7:00 or 8:00. Knowing Kouka wasn't a light sleeper and him not wanting to move yet, he called out to the people outside telling them to come in.

The two women glanced at Hibari and Kouka for a moment, seeing the boy awake and watching them while the girl slept cozily on his shoulder. They couldn't tell where his or her hands were but suspected that he'd probably wrapped an arm around her - to which they were right in thinking. They shared a smile and rosey cheeks as they got on with their work.

It didn't take more than ten minutes for them to set everything up and quietly discuss with Hibari what his plans for the day were. The prefect had a few ideas but decided on just doing whatever Kouka wanted - except the beach, anything but that. He'd be alright with lounging here or going to a shrine or even just a walk in the mountains.

After the women had left Hibari set to waking Kouka up, preferably quickly as the food isn't getting warmer.

He tried pinching her cheek and shaking her but she merely stirred and mumbled gibberish under her breath quite adorably. Huffing, he went for another approach.

"Oi," He grumbled, taking advantage of her no longer leaning on his shoulder he bit her neck viciously, like a true carnivore. This managed to do the trick as she awoke screaming. Admittedly the reaction had Hibari trying to stifle a laugh.

"Hi...H-Hibari-san!?" Kouka exclaimed after recovering from falling over and suddenly being bitten, her hand placed protectively over the site on her neck.

He ignored her confusion and shock for the most part and instead gestured his head towards the table, "Breakfast." While she was attempting to collect herself he stood up to wait for her.

Kouka, whose brain was currently not functioning properly, nodded dumbly and absent mindedly accepted the hand Hibari held out for her.

Even the breakfast was extravagant. It was only until halfway through that Kouka's mind caught up with her.

"Hibari-san, you didn't happen to sleep beside me did you?" She murmured, embarrassment crossing relief depending on the answer she'd recieve. Unfortunately it was the latter that won over.

"I did." He revealed bluntly, smirking upon seeing her blushed cheeks.

A meek frown took over her expression as she rehearsed and weighed over the words in her head. Should she or shouldn't she? She shall. She will, for the sake of herself!

"Tonight..." She started, reassuring herself first that they were definitely staying another night and returning in the morning - she remembered the manager guy mentioning it sometime yesterday. "You can sleep in the bed... I-if you want to!"

He watched her for a moment but she didn't reveal anything but anxious discomfort under his gaze, he made her nervous.

"With you?"

What looked to be an expression of sadness crossed her eyes, only to actually be reluctance and timidness. She opened her mouth a few times to speak but each time nothing came out until she squeaked a small 'Yes' which was barely intelligible but he managed.

He couldn't wait.

After finishing eating they both decided to live up the experience of staying in a ryokan and went for the hot springs again; a morning bath never hurt anyone. Just like before, Hibari finished before Kouka and waited outside for her to finish so he could walk her back hand in hand. Every time she saw his hand reaching out, rather than making her nervous, it made her happy; it continuously reminded her of their new relationship and it was overjoying. Before she looked upon Hibari with an innocent and slightly weak crush/interest, now it was with no doubt strong like - romantic like. Was it love yet? No, she didn't think so; that's not to say she doubted it will become so strong, stronger even than love.

They ended up opting for the mountain walk, during which they adopted a slow pace to enable further ease when holding hands. Although the entire walk would end up being stretched over a longer period of time, they didn't speed up from their leisurely pace - even when they were overtaken by other people on the trail. Taking their time when looking at nature also.

It was about an hour or so in when they came across a rather pretty waterfall, nothing big or grand, simply a large stream of water bursting through and falling over a rock formation. While Kouka was drawn into the beautiful sight, admittedly Hibari was drawn to something else; or rather someone else. The aweing smile on Kouka's lips was much more stunning than some rocks or water.

When they made it to the top, Hibari had immediately draped his arms around her as they stood overlooking the city below - staring into the horizon, misty mountains and silhouettes of trees being shaded by clouds.

Kouka, feeling Hibari's weight slumped on her shoulders and back, just smiled and let her cheeks turn rosy. Taking in the sight, Hibari buried his nose into the crook of her neck to soak up her scent; sweet with a dash of spice, a floral scent woven with cinnamon. He could stay there for eternity, occasionally ghosting his lips over her fair skin and giving her, showing her his uncharacteristically tender love.

He sighed, "It's hot," the increasing heat from the close proximity making the both of them even hotter. "you're hot," He continued dryly as if she could change her body temperature at will.

A short laugh escaped her before she hummed, "Of course, we did just finish climbing a mountain; it's warm here too." Although she liked peering out at the fantastic view they had, the whispers and giggles behind were making her embarrassed. "I'm sure the cafe has AC... and I'm parched." Kouka huffed, steadily reddening cheeks. Hibari didn't move.

"Five minutes." He mumbled into her neck, seeming to be sleepy after the hike - she didn't blame him, it was tiring. Although she did doubt he was tired from the walk, his stamina was not so measly.

Turning around to fall deeper into his embrace, Kouka murmured, "Ten minutes." If he was going to make her stand out here, at least make it worth her while.

Thankfully she didn't fall asleep in his arms although there were many a time she thought she would. Aside from that, it'd probably been a lot longer than ten minutes by the time she decided to interrupt.

"It's hot..."

He grumbled a little but released her, instead holding his hand out for her to take. Grabbing it, she let him lead into the cliffside cafe - in which she hoped they sold smoothies.

The best smoothie she'd ever tasted, the trek up was more than worth it.
