Hey, so first of all sorry for kinda abandoning this book thingy. Secondly, I'm kinda not sorry because as much as I love writing, the past 2 and a half years of my life have been so extremely overwhelming and I was dealing with so many this that were simply more important than this. Also, this is not me officially starting to write oneshots regularly again but just when I can.
This is in tribute to the uncertain future that infinity war holds as we all desperately wait to see the movie.
Bucky POV
The refreshing air relaxed my mind as it worked furiously to determine my future. The cold breeze blew threw my hair and allowed me to stop and appreciate the life I have been graciously rewarded with.
Deep in thought, I felt those oh so familiar arms wrap themselves around me and a chin rest gently on my shoulder. I could feel the tension he was holding in so dearly. "What's gotcha so tense Stevie?" He breathed heavily before answering, "I think you know Buck." I did know. The thing that plagued my mind everyday. Something big is coming, something we didn't know how to prepare for. Something that made our future completely uncertain.
The silence between them sat comfortably as they both stared out at the city below them, the city unaware of what lies ahead.
Bucky turned himself around to face the man he has loved for over 70 years.
"Steve"
"Yeah Buck?"
"I love you so much, no matter what"
"And I love you just as much, if not more. Cause I'm with you..."
"Til the end of the line."
