Back To You (A NASHLENE fanfic)

Carry

Mabilis na tumakbo ang mga araw at ngayo'y naghahanda na ako para sa byahe namin papuntang Palawan. Sa Monday magsisimula ang shooting namin and today is Saturday we have to be there already. Para na rin magkaroon pa kami ng oras na tingnan ang lugar at maging pamilyar dito.

I'm really excited to be in Palawan. Kung sana ay hindi shooting ang ipupunta ko roon. Pero nag promise naman sina direk sa amin na ibibigay niya ang dalawang araw para sa lahat. That means we get to enjoy this day and the next. I just hope I really get to. If you know what I mean.

"Sweetie, nandito na si Jairus. Are you ready?" Sigaw ni mama from the back of my door.

Jairus wanted to take me to the airport. Ayaw ko sana pero he was persistent. My driver's in a day off naman today kaya pumayag nalang ako kesa ako ang mag drive. That would be tiring.

"Yes, I'm ready!" Bungad ko kay mommy nang makalabas na ako sa kwarto ko.

"Mag-iingat ka doon anak ha. I will miss you." My mom put her arms around me pagkadating namin sa gate.

"Of course mom. Mag-iingat ka rin dito. I'll miss you too. It'll be just two weeks naman e." I kissed mom on the cheeks.

"Jairus, you make sure na sa airport mo dadalhin si Sharlene ha." Nakangising sabi ni mommy kay Jairus habang tinutulungan niya ako sa mga bagahe ko.

Natawa naman kaming sabay ni Jairus.

"Tita, I will protect Sharlene with all my life." Nakangiting sabi ni Jairus kay mommy.

If only this were to happen in a different world, a world where I don't adore another man, I'd probably be happy.

"Let's go. Mom, alis na kami." I kissed mom once again at hinayaang pagbuksan ako ni Jairus sa front seat.

I watched as my mom disappeared slowly as the car moves away. I convinced myself that I will be okay. I have people around me who truly loves me. That's what is important.

"Shar, I'm sorry I can't visit you there. I just got a call from my manager yesterday na may bago akong project. Ma bu-busy na rin ako." Jairus said sincerely while driving.

"Wow! That's great Jai. I'm happy for you." sabi ko naman.

I'm really happy for him. Noon, when Nash and I separated, siya lang ang nagkaroon ng big break, not that I'm complaining about that, happy naman ako sa MYX pero I just feel like they forgot about me that easily. Good for Jairus now that he's having his break as well.

"Thanks Shar!" Jairus suddenly held my hand with his left hand driving.

"I promise, kahit na hindi tayo magka love team, hindi kita iiwan. I won't be like him. I will never be." He looked at me in the eyes.

"Ah Jai, eyes on the road." Yan nalang ang nasabi ko bilang sagot nung sa kanya.

Jairus, what did I do to be loved by you? And what did Nash do to be loved by me? Stupid.

The rest of the trip was quite. Malapit lang rin naman ang airport kaya nakarating kami in no time. The bodyguards who were given to me by the management immediately helped Jairus with my stuff.

"May naaalala talaga ako sa inyung dalawa." Pambungad na sabi ni Caroline nang makalapit na kami sa kanila.

"Yeah, me too." Dagdag naman ni Niko.

"Sino naman?" Pagtataka ko.

"You and Nash. Before." Mamang Artie suddenly said.

Krukru people. That was really awkward.

"Oh. I'm definitely nothing like Nash." Sabi ni Jairus sa kanila.

Hindi ko alam kung anong ibig niyang sabihin doon. I just know na hindi niya nagustuhan ang napag-usapan.

"Shar, I should probably go." Jairus turned to me.

"Sure. Thank you talaga Jai." I hugged him and kissed his cheeks.

Don't get this wrong but I do this to all my friends. He smiled at me when we drew back from the hug.

"Call me when you get there." He said while walking away towards his car.

"Okay." I waved him goodbye and finally faced my stylist and makeup artist.

"Alam niyo, you shouldn't have said those words. He seem bothered." Sabi ko sa kanila.

"Ay naku. Si Mamang ang pagalitan mo." Sagot ni Niko.

Nilingon ko naman si Mamang Artie na ngayo'y kinakausap ang kakarating lang na si Nash.

He looked at me thinking that I had something to say. Bigla siyang lumapit sa akin. Sa akin nalang ngayon kasi iniwan na ako ng dalawa kong kasama. Kahit kailan talaga.

"Shar." He called out calmly.

"Oh Nash." I looked away from him and pretended na may hinahanap ako sa aking bag.

"Where's Mamang Artie?" Dagdag ko. Nawala naman talaga si Mamang sa paningin ko.

"Ah, he just told me na aalis na tayo. He's probably with Direk John and Direk Lindsey na. Nasa plane na sila. Let's go." He offered his hands for a reason I don't understand. Why's he holding out his hand?

"What's that for?" I awkwardly ask not sure if I was asking the right thing.

"Can I help you with your bag?" Nash looked at my handbag. Ito nalang ang dala ko ngayon kasi the rest of my bags were already brought by the bodyguards.

"Ah, no thanks Nash. I can manage. You wouldn't wanna carry a lady's bag." I laughed a little. Oh shit! I look like a high school girl na nahihiya sa harap ng crush niya.

"Are you kidding? I always carry Alexa's. Akin na nga yan." He grabbed my bag and my hand, yes my hand, at hinili na niya ako paalis.

It was a good thing na hinila niya ako kasi I don't know how I can ever walk by myself after what he just said.
