"This is pointless!"

"Take a chill pill my amigo," Fresh attempted to placate Geno but to no avail. "We will find our home dog [Y/N] and bring them home, it's nothing big."

"This means everything!" Geno spat and gestured to the pile of ashes that remained of the former G, reflecting nothing of the past and stories that had accumulated over his lifetime. It was quite amusing how something, everything, everything with lives and stories of their own could be reduced to such a meager thing, a pile of ash without name or face. Everyone was unimportant in death it seemed.

"We're wasting our time trying to find them," Geno growled, the white film around his eyes vibrating as his anger built. "There's no hope in finding [Y/N], the lot of you know it. And if we do manage to locate them, what will that mean for us? Do you really think the human will welcome us with open arms? You're all idiots if you think that. Searching and hunting down that human is a waste of time and resources that we don't have. I suggest we continue onwards and remain content knowing that we don't have a murderous sociopath in our lots that is trying constantly to slit our throats every twist and turn."

"That human," Fresh growled, his voice suddenly dark. "That human is the only thing standing between Nightmare and his unrad army from ganking the entire multiverse, which I think is something that all of us amigos would not like to see. Or have you forgotten what our buddy pal Ink told us before he left?"

"You know I could end this problem for all of us," Reaper piped in, causing the whole lot of the skeletons to jump. They were still not accustomed to having death's presence among them. "With one little touch, I could kill the human and all of this would be over. We wouldn't have to worry about this little breakdown episode and we could continue on with our mission."

"If that's the case, why don't you kill Nightmare and get this whole thing over with?" Error retorted.

"You think I haven't thought of that already?" Reaper chuckled which again caused the group of skeletons to recoil from the sound, death laughing was not a very pleasant thing to bear witness. "The mutation has defences, ancient and impermeable ones that even I can't bypass. The magic he's using is very old and archane, attempting to kill him would be a suicide mission."

"One we're all in together, I'm afraid," Geno muttered. "But we don't have a choice. There's no hope and no chance of getting the human back, they were lost the minute they found themselves in this damn Void. We have to keep moving with what little remains."

Fresh and Geno continued to exchange insults and quarries when Error slammed his hand down to the ground, causing both skeletons to fly through the air and land several feet away from one another. "Are we fighting amongst ourselves now?" Geno growled, getting to his feet. A Gaster Blaster materialised from behind him, gaping jaws that glared with the hidden laser that was manifesting in its very core.

"Geno's right, it's a suicide mission and ultimate end to the multiverse if we attempt to find the human, but also eradicates any hopes of us taking down Nightmare, the lot of you know that. It's essential that we keep moving until we locate Nightmare and his forces. That's why the three of you will continue onwards and I will find the human." Error finished his words, looking for any reaction.

"We need you here my amigo," Fresh interjected. "If our untastic friends come through here with you gone, we'll be looking like confetti real soon."

"No they won't," Error retorted, hoping he was right. "Word will get out in a matter of hours that [Y/N] took off into another universe and he'll stop at nothing to track them down. With his forces diverted, this could be the chance we're looking for. But that also means danger for the human as well, and if Nightmare takes hold of them, it means the end of us."
