Narrator: "Anti-Aegis is no more, Shining Hope has returned to being Shining Star and the Knights of Hope, Pixel Reality and Tomorrow's Knights have been separated, and lastly school is back in session."
Inside a large house around Pixel Reality HQ...
???: "You really won't let Echoes go Caleb?"
A teenage boy in a light blue, hooded jacket, baggy jeans, pink and blue T-shirt, and holding a stuffed dog with a stitched leg and pink button eyes stands at the doorway.
Caleb: "(hugging Echoes tighter) No..."
A man standing up with a name tag with the name, Maximilian Walker, stands up from a nearby couch.
Walker: "Well Shining Star should handle anyone who tries to mess with you."
Caleb walks out the door.
Walker: "Well the final update for Pixel Reality is releasing later today."
With Caleb...
Caleb: "(mumbling) Can I finally feel free?"
Caleb has a flashback to a man beating on a young woman.
Caleb: "(breathing heavily) I'm scared..."
Within fifteen minutes Caleb stands in front to the school gates to Caile High.
Caleb: "(afraid) Where are they?"
As Caleb walks inside the gates, he bumps into a larger kid, most likely a senior.
Senior: "Watch where you're going wimp!"
He sees Echoes in Caleb's arms.
Senior: "(cocky) You're in high school and you're still playing with stuffed animals?"
He attempts to grab Echoes until a straight flame blocks him.
???: "Don't mess with him."
They turn around to find a junior in fantasy swordsmen gear and a sword made of pure ruby producing flames.
Caleb: "(hopeful) Micheal..."
Micheal pushes a green button on a glove and changes to a more casual look.
Micheal: "Come on Caleb."
Caleb rushes to join Micheal as the senior has a look of utter confusion on his face.
Caleb: "(quietly) Thank you."
They walk up to a group of seven other kids, three girls and four guys.
Micheal: "Got him."
A boy with curly, black hair and glasses looks at them.
Micheal: "Did you guys all forget? William?'
William: "Shit we did!"
A guy and a girl who appear to be twins react.
Twins: "Well I guess we were in the hospital for god knows how long."
William: "Well Isabel, Anthony, it's the first day of junior year for us."
A girl with loads of anime and manga related clothing and glasses makes a comment.
Girl: "I'm a sophomore like Caleb, remember?"
William: "Sorry Risa..."
The remaining three, a large boy, a girl with short, red hair, and a boy who is a bit too skinny all react.
Anthony: "Robert?"
Robert: "Well did anyone handle the summer homework? I did at least something."
The last girl perks up.
Isabel: "I made Anthony handle it with me. What about you Andrea?"
Andrea: "Micheal and I did it no problem."
William: "I asked my mom to help with a few questions? Kyle?"
Kyle: "(panicking) There was homework?!"
Everyone except Caleb face palms.
Caleb: "(mumbling) Looks like they weren't affected by-"
Caleb has a flashback where he is being beaten in a corner as a small child.
Caleb: "(breathing heavily) No..."
William gives Caleb pat on the back.
William: "Try not to dwell on the past."
Bell rings.
Kyle: "I can take you to first period guys."
The day passes by. It's loaded with all the classic day one stuff and people staring at Caleb, but luckily it passes in the blink of an eye.
Risa: "Well time to cry myself to sleep."
Everyone meets up at the school gate.
Andrea: "You need help getting to PR HQ Caleb?"
Caleb: "N-No I'm fine."
The eight walk away after a quick goodbye.
Caleb: "This is life now."
Caleb slowly walks to a building in the center of town.
However...
Two people are awakening in a cloud of binary code.
???: "(blankly) Austin, emotion purge system has completed faster than anticipated."
Austin: "(blankly) Most like the internal systems here in the CPU had upgraded while we entered that state Aegis."
In PR HQ...
Walker: "(shocked) It not over..."
Two distinct programs had just appeared in his computer.
Austin: "(blankly) I'll pay the Knights of Hope a visit."
One program vanishes.
Aegis: "(blankly) Shining Star is my target."
The second program vanishes.
Walker: "They need to know!"
Walker begins to type away.
Walker: "(in head) And I just added the Ranger class today, finished all of the updates."
Walker continues as the elevator begins to go up.
