Chapter 21: 100

The group splits up.

Caleb: "Asaka!"

Caleb holds out his arm for Bio-Link.

Asaka: "I'm on it!"

They initiate Bio-Link as Edo and Anthony slide underneath a tentacle.

Caleb/ Asaka: "William! Emily!"

The magic users propel the Bio-Linked individual high into the air.

Emily: "Get it right in the eyes!"

They fire magic boosted arrows that not only send them flying back a little, but lodging several arrows into one of it's giant eyeballs before splitting apart.

Edo: "Uh..."

Edo and Anthony fire bullets into a second eye, only to be crushed under another tentacle.

William: "Guys!"

William severs the tentacle with a series of gusts of wind, but the gun users have lost half of their health.

Edo: "(coughing) Thanks."

Caleb and Asaka crash back to the ground, taking out a little health.

Asaka: "(rubbing butt) Ouch!"

Another attack tries to take out Emily.

Emily: "Oh no you don't!"

Emily fires a sonic boom that severs the tentacle before it hits her.

Caleb: "(gritting teeth) Where is the weak spot?"

Caleb notices that a third eye is a slightly different color.

Caleb: "Emily! William! Bio-Link and destroy that third eye!"

Emily notices Caleb's idea.

Emily: "We're on it!"

Asaka takes an attack directed at the two to finish the Bio-Link, but is almost out of health.

Asaka: "Go!"

The two aim perfectly at the eye.

Emily/ William: "It's over."

Sonic booms shatter the eye like glass, taking down the boss.

Meanwhile...

Zack: "(blocking) Any day now!"

The chimera is going berserk on Zack as Michael is trying to gather his footing.

Micheal: "(trying to stand) Andrea?"

Andrea and Serena Bio-Link and lodge their shadow shurikens into the sides and their daggers into the rider.

Andrea/ Serena: "This thing can take a beating!"

Cole fires his cannon, sending the chimera into the air.

Robert: "Finale!"

Robert skewers both entities with icicles produced by his shield.

Cole: "I could make a pun, but I'm not."

Micheal: "He really did have a cold heart..."

The girls split apart as disappointment echoes across the area...

Meanwhile...

Tori: "Kyle!"

Kyle is stuck in the jaws of the dragon's right head.

Kyle: "(panicking) I'd like to not have my health reach zero!"

Kyle's health is dropping fast.

Roy: "Hold on!"

Roy and Isabel hurry up to the right head, but the left one is trying to stop them.

Risa: "Yukiko! Let's do it!"

Risa and Yukiko block the attack.

Yukiko: "Bio-Link!"

Isabel and Roy sever the head and pull Kyle out in time.

Isabel: "Next time, don't try and be the hero."

The two have Bio-Linked.

Risa/ Yukiko: "I'll surpass you!"

The impact of the punch sends the other head into the stratosphere, just before they separate.

Tori: "Alright!"

Caleb and Yukiko rocket up to Lv44.

Yukiko: "Alright!"

However...

???: "100..."

The ground begins to shake.
