I quietly pack a small bag of supplies, trying not to make any noise. Once finished, I put up a mental barrier and slowly make my way to the exit of Stark Tower. They'd likely see me on the cameras in the morning, but no one would know I was leaving. Not even Loki.
Once I reach the bottom floor, I quickly exit the building, running as fast as I can until I reach the nearest hotel. I enter the small building, stepping up to the counter.
"Welcome to Hotel NYC, how may I help you?" A young woman greets.
"I just need a room for one until tomorrow," I smile, taking out what little cash I had.
"Alright. That'll be $45."
I sigh, handing the woman the bills and taking the rooms key card.
"Have a good night."
"You too," I nod, taking the stairs up to my rooms floor. Once I reach my room, I close and lock the door. I throw my things onto the bed before grabbing fresh clothes and a box of hair dye I had managed to steal from Natasha's bathroom. I walk into the bathroom, looking at myself in the mirror, "It's just hair dye. It'll grow out."
****
I sigh as I towel dry my hair. I was officially a blonde. Dirty blonde. Once my hair is dry and my other clothes are discarded, I grab my things and head out of the hotel.
"Have a good day!" an older woman says as I walk past the counter. I nod and wave as I make my way through the door.
I walk quickly, placing a ball cap on my head as I head in the direction of a bus station. Quickly, I purchase a ticket for Maine and get onto the bus.
"Is this seat taken?" A woman's voice asks and I look up, shaking my head, "Thanks."
I nod, watching as she sits next to me. She was fairly tall, pale skinned with black hair. Similar to myself. I say nothing as the bus begins to pull away from the station.
"My name's Badb," the woman smiles, "What's yours?" (pronounced: bi-eeb)
I looked over to her, raising an eyebrow, "Danny."
Badb nods and hums, "Why Maine?"
"How did you know I was going to Maine?" I ask, staring at her in suspicion, "This bus has more than one destination."
Her face grows serious as she slowly stands, "Take my hand."
"Why? Who are you?"
"Just take my hand!" She hisses.
I look around the bus, nodding as I notice two small children. Slowly, I take her hand and instantly we appear in a dimly lit room. It smelled of metal, much like the Kree ships.
"Sit down," she orders, pushing me down into a chair. She chuckles as she chains me to the chair tightly, "Aidan Murray. That's your name, correct?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," I lie, keeping my eyes locked with hers. I take down my mental barrier, watching as she circles around me.
"Don't play dumb with me. I know who and what you are."
"I'm just an ordinary girl that wanted to go to Maine," I lie again, trying to keep her attention off of me. The more I lied, the more she moved around.
Loki..
"Aidan Murray, daughter of Aoife and Aodhamair Murray! Am I correct?!" She shouts, still circling around me as her pace quickens.
Goddammit, Loki...answer me!
"My name is Danny Mitchell. Daughter of James and Elizabeth Mitchell."
Loki I swear to god...
Aidan! Where are you?
I'm in what I'm assuming is a Kree ship. There's a woman, Badb. I think she's Celtic.
I'm coming to get you.
Wait. Bring someone with you.
Like who?
Bring Thor.
Alright. Just hang in there. It won't be long I promise.
I know...
"Aidan!" Badb yells, making me jump, "Stop lying to me."
"I'm not lying. I don't know who you are, but you have the wrong person!"
She growls, slapping me across the face.
I breathe heavily, keeping my head down, and I laugh loudly as I look up to face her again.
"What's so funny?" She hisses.
"Oh, nothing," I sigh, beginning to melt the chains around me, "But I really should be going."
"Yeah? And how are you going to do that?" She asks, crossing her arms.
"I'm just gonna walk right out," I smile, busting through the softened chains and shooting fire at her. I run out of the room, turning down a long hall and heading towards the entrance of the ship.
"Oh, Aidan, you forgot something!" Badb yells just as something hits me in the back. I land to the floor as a searing pain spreads through my back, like thorns wrapping around my spine. I scream in pain as she lifts me by my hair, dragging me back down the hall.
"Loki!" I scream out, struggling to free myself from her grasp.
She laughs as she throws me against the wall, "No one is coming for you. Not even your little lover boy."
I groan in pain, trying my best to stand, "You're right. My lover boy isn't coming."
She laugha, kicking me to the ground.
"I don't have a lover boy."
"You have no one," she hisses, kicking me again.
"No," I groan, sitting up against the wall, "I have someone. He's just not a boy. He's a God."
I grin as Loki comes up behind Badb and knocks her to the floor. He hovers over her, kicking her multiple times before Thor stops him.
"Brother," he says, pushing Loki away from her, "That's enough."
Loki growls before walking to me and picking me up from the floor.
"Mischief," I smile weakly, looking up at him as he carries me, "I-
"Don't. You don't have to explain anything to me. All that matters is that I have you back."
I nod and sigh, wrapping my arms around his neck. Tears fall down my cheeks as I snuggle my face into his shoulder.
Shhhh...everything is going to be alright.
I sniffle, pulling myself closer to him.
"Don't let me go," I cry, my voice muffled.
"Never," he whispers, "I'll never let you go ever again."
