We all eat in the foyer, and for once, I sit on the sofa with Loki right next to me. I had made the only thing I knew how, hobo soup. A large mix of vegetables, ham and Polish sausage made into a soup.

"This is really good," Steve compliments, his mouth full of food as he speaks, "Like, really good."

I chuckle, watching as everyone enjoys their meal, "I'm glad you guys like it."

"Where did you learn to make this?" Natasha asks before taking a sip from her glass.

"Being homeless your whole life has its perks, I guess," I laugh awkwardly, looking into my empty bowl, "The one and only person who ever took me in taught me. His name was Abram Ivanov. He caught me sleeping in his work shed one night and took me in. I lived with him for about a month, but then....someone broke into his house one of the only times I went out without him. They shot him six times and only took one thing; a bag of diamonds that weren't even his."

"Who's were they?" Natasha questions, leaning forward in her chair. Everyone stares at me, their faces neutral in suspense.

I shake my head and huffed, "They were mine. I had stolen them a few nights before and I guess they followed me, but a good man died because of something I did."

"We all make mistakes," Steve sighs, "And you're a different person now."

Loki rubs my back, kissing my temple lightly as he did.

Mistakes make us who we are today.

Do you know how cheesy that sounded?

I know..but it is true. And besides, isn't our entire situation kind of cliche?

I looked at him and laugh, "Holy shit, it really is."

"What is what?" Stark asks, placing his empty glass onto the table, his voice slightly slurred.

I sigh and grin, my eyes still on Loki, "Nothing."

"They have this thing where they talk to each other telepathically," Natasha chuckles, "Trust me, the first time they did it around me I thought they were just staring at each other for five minutes."

Loki chuckles lowly, leaning back and crossing one leg over the other with his hand resting on my lower back as he rubs small circles on my side with his thumb.

I hum in contentment, leaning against his side and laying my hand on his chest.

We should get drunk.

Are you even old enough to drink?

Loki...I'm 225 years old. I'm well over the legal drinking age.

I guess so...

Well?

Let's drink until the sun comes up.

I stand up, running into the kitchen and grabbing as many bottles as I can before carefully walking back into the foyer. I place the bottles onto the table, sighing once I finish my task.

"What's this?" Stark asks with an arched brow.

"Celebratory drink in honour of my resurrection?" I question, putting my hands on my hips, "But do we really need a reason?"

He smirks, grabbing the bottle of scotch, "No we do not."

I take the bottle from him, tipping it back and chugging from it.

"Let's drink until I probably catch something on fire!" I exclaim, taking another large swig.

Everyone laughs as they grabbed their own drinks and music starts to play over the surround sound.

I sit down next to Loki again, handing him a bottle of red wine, "Good music choice."

He smiles, taking a drink from his bottle, "I thought you might like it."

"I do like it. Reminds me of all the times I've ever committed a crime."

"Is that a good thing?" He chuckles, draping an arm over my shoulder.

"Kind of. Makes me want to do something dangerous, though."

"Yeah? Like what?" He smirks, chugging from his bottle one last time before setting it on the table.

I sit for a moment, drinking from my bottle as I think.

"Oh!" I quickly stand up, setting my bottle down on the table and turning to Loki, holding out my hand to him. He takes it, letting me help him up, and I keep his hand in mine, pulling him to the open area of the foyer.

"Let's dance," I grin, looking up to him with a giggle, "It's not dangerous, but I really want to dance with you."

"I like that idea much better," he takes my hands, placing them on his shoulders as he puts his own on my hips, "Just sway side to side. It's easy."

"This another thing Abram taught me," I smile as we dance slowly and naturally swayed in-sync with him.

Loki had changed the music without my noticing, the song now going at a slow tempo, the woman's voice as passionate as the instruments playing behind it. Loki grabs my hand as I step back and he spins me quickly before gripping my waist to pull me against him once more.

"You're good at this," I grin as he spins me again, this time he dipping me down to kiss me. Just like the night we had told everyone we were a couple. He pulls away, lifting me back up as the song comes to it's end.

"You are so beautiful," he whispers, pulling me closer to him.

I cup his cheek with my hand, his cold skin soothing against my own,
"So are you."

No one has ever told me that.

Well they were all blind assholes...

Do you still want to do something dangerous?

I suppose so...

Let's keep drinking then. You never know what we'll do.

You're a genius..

I try...

Loki chuckles, pulling me back to the couch and grabbing both of our bottles as he plays a new song. We both finish the bottles, grabbing new ones and finishing those as well.

"I really hope we don't do something stupid," I slur, looking up at his flushed face and hooded eyes.

"Like what?" He asks, his accent heavier than usual.

"Like blow up the tower or try to kill someone. You know, don't wanna go back to our villainous ways.

He leans down, kissing my forehead lazily, "I'll personally chain you up if you try anything of the sort."

"Is that a promise or a threat?" I smirk, staring into his widening eyes, "What?"

"Your eyes," he caresses my cheek bone softly, "They're...they're bright orange. Like a fire."

I lean closer to him, using his eyes as a mirror, "Holy shi- That's amazing! Everyone loo-

I freeze, seeing everyone asleep. Stark and Thor were snuggled together in a chair while Bruce, Clint and Natasha were spread about on the floor.

Loki laughs, his words slurred as he speaks, "Looks like the party is over."

I shake my head, turning to face him, "Let's go back to that beach in Norway. The sun should be coming up, right?"

"Yeah. That sounds lovely."

I smile widely, hugging him just before we vanish from the foyer. I open my eyes, taking in the view of the beautiful water.

"Do you want to go for a swim?" I ask, never looking away from the ocean.

"I thought you would never ask."

I grin, quickly pulling off my clothes and running towards the water in nothing but my bra and underwear as Loki follows close behind me.
