Chp.9

~~~Thomas's POV ~~~

We walked into the good lush part of the forest,there was a lot of unique plants and animals,I swear a say a dear with two heads and had a unicorn horn .eventually we stopped to sat camp from walking for about 4 hours,Alexander wanted to continue in the night but I had to tell him it maybe more dangerous,I dunno what's out there,and apparently he doesn't either.
I started a fire with some branches and kindle,Alex went out to go find something to hunt.
In the mean time,I decided to look through my bag,I had no clue what was in there,I first found want looked like a pendant,it was gold with a red stone in the middle,I debated in putting it on.
Then I-"RAWR"
I jumped off the log I was sitting on and threw the necklace at whatever made that noise
"..GOD DAMMIT ALEX"I yelled
He burst into laughter,falling to his knees as he laughed
I growled"What if that was a real animal!"
"Well then I guess your ready to freak out when there is"he laughs,o soon relaxed and kinda..blushed,he had a beautiful laugh,even when he snorts.i soon joined in and chuckled.
"See!its funny!"he said "yeah yeah,what did you catch?"sitting back on the log,he held up two dead rats"ew"I said,not really disgusted.
"You can eat it or starve"he said as he soon got it ready but then I said"here,let me cook it,you already catched it."I set my hand on top of his to stop him,I saw his cheeks pink a bit,looking at me and my hand"Alright"he said,I smiled softly and got to work

~~~Alex's POV ~~~

I watched him degut the rat,but mostly watched him,something about him was different,as if reality slapped him across the face a few times.he was more nice and actually talked to me.i felt..close to him,not like a 'we are getting use to eachother' way,more of a ,deep feeling..I blushed at it and turned away so he didn't see,I put my hand into my shirt to fix the bandage,it was uncomfortable but it's the best I can do
"You okay Alex?"he said once the rats were over the fire.
"Oh uh yeah"I removed my hand quickly and turned back.
"Is something wrong?"he looked at my chest ,I'm hoping it wasn't noticeable.
"Is there something wrong there?"he asked as if I needed help
"No..just,cold"I lied,pretty well.
"Oh uh-"he unclipped his cloak and put it over mine ,I blushed at his care ,not gonna protest "thank you.."I pulled it closer
He smiles"no problem"I smiled at his smile,it was cute and dorky,I liked that..
He soon looked at the pendant"can you tell me what this does?"I look at it"it's just the pendant you where a lot,it changed color when danger is near.when it's not warn,it's red,when your safe in a 50 mile radius ,it's blue,when in danger,it's green"I studied how I talked,he seemed to almost tear up.."Thomas?"I asked

~~~Thomas's POV~~
He talked just like him...
It pained me ,I didn't want to think of it again..
"Thomas?"he said ,I snapped out of it and wiped my eyes"sorry sorry"sniffles
"Nono it's okay ,it's okay to cry"he said as he put a hand on my shoulder,I blushed and looked at him,I didn't realize I set a hand on his cheek,I felt him blush.he pushed me away"no.."I said"sorry "I pulled away.rubbing my arm,his skin was so soft.yet I made things awkward
"It's fine just..disappointed."he admitted
"Why?"I said,"I was saving my first kiss for my soulmate..."he said kinda quietly.i went silent then smiled a bit,"I know who it is"he turned to me"how?".
I scooted closer ,lifting my sleeve to reveal the scars,his eyes widen a bit,I gently took his arm and rolled it up,the scars and words were the same,the quotes finally seen,i set my arm next to his to read across 'Don't leave me..''why would I leave..?"

He was silent,staring at it.i watched him
"Ale-I was cut off as he jumped onto me,knocking me over
